First Grow, Any Ideas on my closet?

First time grower on a budget, check out the pics of my closet and let me know what you think. I plan on having 2 to 3 full size plants, and probably some cfl's or 2 foot flouresent light bars. I am a college student on a budget so I am looking to spent only about $50 to $90 on lights. Let me know what you think, or if you have any ideas on improvements. A few of my seeds cracked open this morning so im looking to get some lights later today, so any feedback sooner the better! Thanks guys and gals.

i just figure as a college student you'll probably like following something like mine due to the fact that the lights kick on and off due to timers and the feeding schedule is also controlled by timers...just check in on the babies every so often talk to them a little bit but besides that the system runs itself...Ebb&flow is what i based mine off of

I am looking only to use about a 3' x 2' section in the back, and since there is about 5 feet of vertical i think this should be enough for about 2 or 3 full size females. I like Th3p3st24's take on the cfl setup and i know that those parts are easy and cheap to find so that will probably be the way to go i think. Would either full spectrum cfls or daylight ones be the way to go for veg? And probably 2 or 3 of the 23w cfl's per plant? Thanks for the help

from what i gather about lighting its the more the better...if you can only afford one of the types of bulbs go with the daylight make sure its rating is 6500k its almost always says on the box of bulbs....if you have enough mix the 2700k with the 6500k for a 2-1 ratio depending on what stage its in . For example veg stage im using 8 6500k's and 4 2700k's and they are growing faster then i could ever imagine a plant doing on its own. I seriously took an extra piece of the pvc i had from building the system and hung it up on two box fans taped it down then taped some surge protectors onto it. From there i got a 3 way splitter with these 2$ light fixture pieces that plug straight into a receptacle from lowes so i plug to bulbs into it and line them up along the pvc. no need to buy anything fancy to house your lighting. if you would like a picture of the piece of pvc and the surge protectors im sitting next to my closet now.....lemme know

keep in mind though that for flowering you are going to have to switch that ratio around so you may aswell buy the bulbs in advance
