First Grow advice needed throughout grow :)

I can't really see any pistils in the photos, but they aren't close enough either. You probably just have secondary branches. Keep watching that node right below the main top and I expect you will see some hairs fairly soon.

Whats your light cycle on? Should be on 24hr.. or 18on 6off
24 hours, heard this is highly recommended for auto flowering strains.

Yeah sorry about the shots, only taking photos off an iPhone 5s so quality isn't the best. Ok no worries will keep an eye on the node below the main top.

Thanks a lot guys for the feedback! Cheers!:peace:

Hello everyone once again here is a little UPDATE:

Ok so today I have transplanted the Bomb THC plant into a 14L/3.7 Gal pot. I think everything seems to be going okay, although I'm wondering if it's bad that this plant has already started flowering and it's pretty small :/?

Here are a couple photos I took quickly while transplanting. Since I'm doing 24 hours light with these autos I thought there's no reason why I can't transplant during daytime, so I'm hoping that the transplant went okay and didn't cause to much stress.

image.jpg image.jpg

She has some discolouration on the lower leaves I'm not sure what is causing this it's only on about 3-4 leaves. I thought it could possibly be nute burn, although most nute burns I've seen have started from the tip of the leaves like Ragieboyyy also mentioned. So here's a photo of one of the leaves.

My 2700k CFL has arrived and I'll upload a photo of the one I purchased later this afternoon. Should I put this plant straight under it?

Here's a couple photos of the Royal Queen, I think
this plant is doing well. But this one seems to have some slight discolouration on about 2 of the leaves :/.

I have also purchased a 1.2x1.2x2.0m tent which I'll use for flowering. The tent should arrive sometime this week :D.

Please leave me some feedback like you guys usually do and let me know what you think. All comments, questions, ideas, answers ect.. Are very much appreciated and help a lot!! Thanks once again guys!!!:peace:bongsmilie

Hi guys unfortunately I found these little balls that appear to me as pollen sacks :( can anyone confirm this is a hermie for me?:Bomb THC
image.jpg image.jpg

As I have one other small female plant what should I do with this hermie? Can I or should I just chuck it out side and see how it goes or is that to risky? As I don't want to pollenate my other plant.. I'm pretty sure I stressed this one to be a hermie if this is the case :(.

The truth is- the feminized seeds people are buying are not guaranteed females. In fact, there is a higher chance of hermies when using feminized seeds, greater chances with certain breeds. There are also different kinds of feminized seeds that are yielded by different breeding techniques and methods, and each method has its own relative affect on the genetic probability of generating females.
Its just like different kinds of coke- pretty much the same thing watered down different ways to appeal and sell to people.

I am not saying that feminized breeding techniques don't greatly improve the chances of regular female plants. It can and does.

I am not saying that feminized breeding techniques water down genetics- often times it does stabilize traits of the parent/parents. but that could over time with successive feminized over breeding, draw out mutations/anomalies in the genetic code, thereby producing altogether different genomes. The latter is starting to be more common, and quickly seen and efforts made to stop by seed vendors, since over the last 10 years feminized breeding techniques have become far more common and widespread, particularly commercially.
The techniques have been around for quite some time, used much earlier in history on rice for example during some dynasty or other.

That makes sense, I now understand a little more! Thank you very much for this very helpful knowledge of yours.:peace:

UPDATE:
Hello every one,
Today I have been told and have noticed my plant (Bomb THC)(auto)(fem) is not female nor a hermie, it's a male. So got rid of him and im just keeping one plant for now the royal queen because I go over seas in a few weeks. So hopefully you guys can still chime in with your constant helpful advice! Today I have also set up my new 1.2x1.2x2.0m tent I'll post some photos below. I still need to buy an exhaust fan and some small hydroponic clip fans.
image.jpg image.jpg

Here are some photos of the Royal Queen. Still some slight discolouration, but apart from that I think she's okay. I'm really hoping to have success on this one as it's my only plant at the moment. What do you guys think?

All comments, ideas, advice ect.. Are very welcomed and much appreciated! Cheers RUI community! :bigjoint::peace:

I've read that cannabis doesn't like wood chips in the soil. Something about it being too acidic. Maybe transplant into something with none when you transplant.

Bummer about that non female feminized! Looks like you have a green thumb, keep up the good work!

Don't be afraid to get that light closer. I used to do cfl grows and would keep the light so close I had to adjust every day. The only time they got burned is when they directly touched the bulb. and even then, it was only the part that came in direct contact that burned. (1mm away was still fine)

Thanks twobyetoo, I'm still yet to find a decent soil here in Australia. Thanks for the advice! :D

Yeah it is a bit, oh well he was just more practice I guess :D. Haha thank you still got a long way to go with much more learning to be done! Ok I will move her a little closer I just had some burn on my Male plant that I just got rid of because being to close to my cfl. Like others have said and yourself that I can move it with in a few mm-cm-inches but this T5 cfl burns my plants if it's to close. But I do realise I can move her up still a bit more so I will do so :D

Thank you very much for your feedback guys!! Much appreciated!!

Hello all, can anyone tell me how this plant is looking? She still has a bit of discolouration through out some of the leaves, and leaves look a little droopy. This could be due to a little to much water, because I watered yesterday but I'm not 100% it's overwatered. I could be just paranoid like most new growers are :P. Do I need to do anything or just leave her be and continue watching new growth?
These 2 photos were just taken now.

This photo was taken yesterday.
image.jpg

Finally this photo was taken Monday, just so you can see how the plant has gone downhill since. I really can't figure out why. Is it asking for some nutes? I flushed the soil quite well because it had pre release in there.

Please leave me some feedback all welcome!!Thank you very much! :peace:

soil doesn't look very moist in those recent pictures. looks like ph related lockout, more than likely from when the pot dried out, and when you watered it didn't soak in enough, and was in part rejected, resulting in uneven moisture and uneven ph, causing lockout.

I still haven't bought a pH tester yet but will definitely get one this week. I have been using tap water that I have let sit for a few days :/. Is there's any quick fix solution to get her looking nice and healthy again? Thanks for getting back to me! :bigjoint::peace:

I actually just fed her to see if it helps she is 3 weeks old :/. Not sure if she's stunted or she's okay. This is what I used and I used 1/4 what they recommend just to see how we go. I also misted with the nutes because it also says foliar feed.

Also one more question today I noticed a couple roots at the bottom of the bit (2-3) does this mean I should transplant and could this have anything to do with how she is looking at the moment? Hard to see in the photo but in the right hand corner where I made another drainage hole on my pot there's a little white line that's one of the roots.

I wouldn't have done that. I also wouldn't use that fertilizer. But its all up to you.

Curious to see how this goes for you.

You do know that once the leaves yellow the don't turn green again right?

Look, I understand that you really care about what you get out of this, and you may think just give more more more..... sometimes less is more. In your updated pic with the spray all over it i can tell your plant is not transpiring water, looks overwatered. Overwatering is probably the most common mistake that is made.

I would personally blow off all that spray that is on it and get some healthy air flow around it, keeping it away from the light until the leaves are standing up on their own again and all of the water sploches are gone.... but tha'ts just me.

Edit- oh I hope you didn't fry your plant.....
