Hi all, this is my first grow and first time posting here. I have one bag seed so don't know what strain it is. I'm sure it's indica as was very bushy until I removed a few leaves last week. It was under cfl's until last week when I purchased a 300w vapar led. I'm using plant magic coco and nutes. It's not the prettiest of plants I could have done better but was just giving it ago to start and now I'm hooked Im sure it has a phosphorus deficiency but hoping it's just the strain! Thanks for any help or advice in advance!

I don't think you have any kind of deficiency your plants look good and you probably only have about 4 more weeks until harvest. I wouldn't listen to so called experts who diagnose yore deficiencies based on a photo over the internet. I get leaves with yellowing early on and I just keep doing what I do and the Bud always is kick ass, Start with good seeds veg for 4 weeks, start nutes for vegging at 3 weeks. Use flowering nutes when you flip to 12//12 and should be ready in 9 more weeks. I use Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil 3 gallon Smart Pots and Fox Farms nute Trio of Grow Big, Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom. This has worked for me for several years and I have yet to have a poor harvest. My avatar is a bud from 2 grows ago of Short Ryder.

So good to hear that bullwinkle, thanks for quick response. Was getting a bit worried as PH was a bit high for a couple waterings but all good now short Ryder looks good!

However I do see some heat stress big time. By the folding down the middle upwards. Most led rockers ive noticed had those issues when they just got the led. Watch your temps and be real careful during your flower and buding stages. feeding once a week and water once a week is what i do to ensure comfort and error prevention. Just some advice.IMG_20141105_171409.jpgIMG_20141105_171322.jpg

Also again it looks to be some good nute burn which says that your girl is on bumpy ride. Just be easy on her. Also what do before feeding is flush 3-1/2 days previous to remove as much salt build up as I can. Lots of newbs and non-newbs arent really aware of the salt build-up. You want keep a close schedule watering and feeding. Consistency....:peace:

I fed on Tuesday 4th nov 2 litres water ph 5.8 had run off of 6.2 with 5ml of hard and soft nutes. My temps stay below 82 and above 67 in dark cycle which i thought was ok? should I add some calmag? I haven't used any yet. I feed and water when pot feels very light. I'm using an old shower cubicle in disused bathroom so could keep shower door open more if need be. Thanks for your advise it's much appreciated and good to finally have feed back from people rather than just reading lol Do u think I should raise my light as it's about 6 inches away from top of plant, maybe it's too close?

Yea, its good to add some calmag she probably needs it. I dont want to tell you to raise the lights but put your hand between the tops and the fixture and see how long it takes till you begin to feel some heat. What you can do is blow air between the tops and the fixture. That'll be good for her too. Shes looking very strong willed and determined. So just keep her on about 70% strength with nutes on that consistant day and watered on that consistant day. Shes pretty much being watered twice a week technically. When you feed her she waters herself and when you water her she feeds herself...:weed::peace:

Thanks garden! The back of my hand feels fine between plant and light but will def use calmag with just ph'd water on Saturday morning. I have a 9inch fan blowing 24/7, humidity is always between 45-65. I feel my lil lady is rather small but don't have a clue what she is and was just wandering how much my buds would grow between now and harvest, I have read they could double in size which sounds good but to be honest I'm happy to get just a few grams as it was just a case of plant seed and see what happens! But happy so far but def room for improvement next time round.

like i was saying, my lady is a bagseed as well. she seems to be some kind of kush. shes 6weeks in 12/12 and 4weeks of flower and budding. im still learning alot myself. i just feed her once a week and water every 3.5 days after that that way shes feding and drinking twice in a week technically. i keep the grow area clean and temps and humidiy at 70'F - 79'F and under 50% humidity. i just got a dehumidifier today from amazon. but i usually control the humidity with an open window and screen for the cool air which reduces the % of humidity. lights at 5-6" from the tops. i feed with flora nova bloom which is a two part system all cfl grow. my next grow will be mh/hps. im doing a COB GROW.

You may want to flush real good with ph'd spring water before your give her cm. And when you feed again which id do on tues, id only give her bloom. I meant to ask you when you said hard and soft nutes, what exactly are you feeding her?

I've done loads of reading, almost every day for the last few months which has helped but good to get advice from another grower at present. You say spring water, do u mean just normal bottled water from regular shop? I have tap water sat open from this morning ready for tomorrow's watering session, would that be ok? I'm using plant Magic bloom hard and soft it comes in 2 bottles. 2 for veg and 2 for flower

Yea you can use the tap. But spring or bottled water would ensure more salt build up cleansing is what Im thinking. But then again it shouldnt hurt to flush with it really if you dont have a choice. tomorrow id flush and give cm and let her chill till your feeding day tues is it? I wasnt sure... But id feed her half strength. so she can come out of that stress. That would be what id do to my own.

Feeds on Tuesday I will be more consistent from now on I was kinda winging it but I guess that shows now lol. Will give half dose nutes on Tuesday, thanks again for all your help and advice! I will post a couple more pics tomorrow evening once it's had a few hours since water
