First ever Bubbler, plant is a HUGE bush right now, advice, suggestions?

So here is my plant.. Originally this plant was going to be a mother.

However, I've decided this thing got waaay to big for my needs.

It's either a Master Kush, or Aurora Indica. I'm pretty certain it's AI.


I have 3 airstones in there right now, the root mass is huge, I need to change the tote about every 2 days. I'm currently feeding it Botanicare's Pro Grow series. about 8 Tbls per 10 gallons, with 1 tablespoon of Liquid Karma.

I just started to flowering yesterday, and adding some Bloom to the mix.

The light is 600w, and it's in a 4 x 4 tent.

Anyone have suggestions on waht to do? I plan on clipping much of the bottom of the plant to save the plant from wasting energy on little popcorn buds.

I really have no idea what I'm doing, just from what I've read on this forum. My last two grows were SoG's that I wasn't terribly impressed with, so I decided to give this a go.

Yeah Cesaro that is a nice looking bush. I have a couple that wouldve been very similar, but i had to trim them back some so my 400 watter could penetrate them. O by the way whats crackin Pwiz. This is CIS under my different name.

I'm keeping the PH between 5,8, and 6.2.

I'll keep posting photos of these as it gets bigger. Hopefully these thing don't stretch much. Both MK, and AI didn't stretch much at all during my last grow, about 1.5x probably.

The last two grows I did like 20 smaller plants in 4 inch rockwool cubes. I got great bud, just the yield left a lot to be desired. So I decided to try this method, I wanted to do 3 plants this size in my tent. But my bud who was growing clones for me decided to stick a knife in my back, and keep all my genetics, I had multiple strains going over at his place :\..

Anyway, hioefully I get 3+ OZ's off of this plant. My last grow I got a couple plants that yielded 1.4 oz's and they were Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay smaller so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm going to LST this thing as well I think to open up the middle of the plant. It seems to have about 4 "main cola's around the plant, and the middle can just be opened up and all the middle can be exposed to the light..

So it's been almost 2 weeks. The plant stretched a fair amount, I was getting worried because I was running out of vertical space. But it seems to have settled down.

Looks like the stretching is over for the most part now, I can see the buds starting to form. I've been clipping off the bottom runty leaves/shoots, I've read many posts about people saying they wished they'd done with theirs.

So I tried to top this plant while in veg awhile ago, I'm not really sure I succeeded looking at that one cola that is clearly risen high above the rest. That is the main cola, right? Is the goal of topping what I'm seeing now? Or is it to have multiple main colas?

Well anyway, don't be shy with comments. I'm definitely liking bubblers way more than sea of greens in rockwool cubes. Enjoy the pics.

Looks great, but why are you changing your res every 2 days? that is big bucks. i have a mk in dwc (5 gal) and it goes at least a week usually 10 days between res change. just keep an eye on your ph and you can leave that water at least 7 days.that 600 should have plenty of power to finish 1 plant so stop choppin. when your top colas are ready to chop just chop and drop, drop your light down and finish the bottom buds. if your gunna keep cutting branches you should take some clones off the bottom. try to find some lower branches without buds,clip and dip,24/7 till they root.this is a mk in promix at 5 weeks 12/12 nutes 1 time a week . i took clones off her 2 times during a 9 week veg, yours is gunna explode soon.

took me awhile to find the one in hydro,11 weeks in this bucket 3 passes of clones. this one gets a new res on sundays since week 8. i start at 1600 ppm and give nothing but water as needed until the next sunday but i do adjust the ph daily.the pics are a week or so old.

I'm changing it ever couple days because the plant drinks all the water in the res that fast. It's a 15 gallon tote, but I can only add about 8 gallons to the res. After 2 days there is hardly no water in the res. I should probably go with a bigger tote maybe? I'll post some root porn when it's awake again.

Mine is drinking 1-1/2 to 2 gal a day so i start at 1600ppm and by the end of the week it is at 200- 400 ppm by just adding water. just a cheaper way of doing it i guess.what are you using for nutes and what temp do you keep her at.

I need to start using my PPM again.. I was using organics for my vegging so it was pretty useless.. I keep it around 75-85 degrees.

Yah it's one plant.. It's had a hard life though lol..

First when it was about 8 inches tall, the got ripped it apart. So it was just a stem with a little green leaf on it, I'm talking like the size of a pin head. It came back strong, then it suffered serious PH issues in the bucket I had it in. It lost almost all of it's leaves, it was horrifying to see, the plant was very full of foliage and it all died..

Then it came back even better, and eventually the root mass was just too big for my 5 gallon bucket once I but it under a 600w MH.
