First bubble, have a few questions

So here is my set up, 31 gallon res, 400 watt hps/mh light from HTG, have the water pump and 5 cups. I am going to grow pineapple express. I have a few questions though on the nutes and the bubbles.
For the nutes I am looking at advanced nutrients their 2 part sensi, how much of this will I need? Also when looking at their feeding chart do i do moderate or light fedding schedule? Also do I do a weekly res change, and do I feed only once a week? if this stuff sucks and someone has a suggestion I am open for anything.
My next questions is about the bubbles i bought the air pump from walmart that is like 20-60 gallons and I hooked it up to 2 6inch air stones. It seems though that I am lacking with the bubbles. Should i add another 2 6 inch stones onto the orginal 2? Or what should I do.

Thanks for the help

Never done this sort of grow before, but if you need answers, I'd suggest you call up the folks at Advanced Nutrients. They're pretty cool and they certainly can do a better job of figuring out what you need to do. They made the nutes after all

:leaf: good luck man :leaf:

Dude.. your res is going to kill you...Why do you have such a big res for a BP system and how do you plan to drain 31gs of water? Just get a smaller res like a 14g or 10 (wally world and tarje)... My 2cents... keep the change

I agree, smaller res. And forget the water pump and go with more airstones and a much larger air pump.

Sterlite makes and 8 gal res that runs well with 6 gal of water. You can grow 3-4 plants in there nicely. It's the same thing Stealth Hydro uses in their "bubbleponics" kit. Except you can get it at a discount store for 6 or 7. Cut some holes, add a drain valves, get some netpots and a robust pump like this http://www.discount-hydro.com/productdisp.php?pid=412&navid=8 and 3 12 inch airstones and you're in business. And you'll save a lot of money.

Isn't there a rule of thumb that says that for plants 4 ft and under, 2 gal per plant is plenty?
