So far I have been running my plants in pure FFOF with no issues, and I expect my autos to not need any nutes at all.

Never ran FFOF alone , always mix with happy frog ; they say it's Not as stable of a soil either , but when I mix with happy it's perfect . If ur worried bout soul being to hot which I doubt cause my photo plants I mix happy and ocean put seeds right in it , now autos I use light warrior in the middle of my container that's as big of spot as a solo so the seed can make it down somewhat before hitting hot stuff , basically same thing in a super soil u only put on the bottom half to 1/3 , and yea supper soil is probly a waist for one plant , I just mixed 6 bags of ocean and 2 bags of happy 2 cuff of perlite , lime , happy frog 3-4-3 , and bat guano kelp meal , the other soil mix I made for some of my outdoor plants was with marine cruisne , lime and kelp , I've not actually made a tru sub cools super soil I didn't have time this year and busy I just couldn't so I got these mixes wrote down gonna see how long they go without adding nutes and what not yeild and so on tru super soil next year I hope , some
Say they Brew it some say they Dnt gonna try a lil so both side by side with super silver by Dina fem and see what happens ... I use some 7gal smart pots for outdoor to I know with them I gotta put sticks or wedges in the soil if it gets dry on top it makes it a bitch to water so those sticks let a lot of water run down into open soil lettin the top get wet without runnin over . U might could try even puttin a couples holes up the sides of the containers to add some airflow , but I say if u let these dry cycle a lil cut back on the water some then u should be ok , I got a small probe I'll run up the bottom of the container or down a inch off the sides and if I pull out and the lower half is wet or got dirt stuck to it then I'll no somewhat .. Like others have said thou weighing that pot feeling it when it's wet or dry is a good indicator when to water , ... Oh question for you now ur happy frog soil have u gotten fungus gnats , these two auto runs I've had gnats in my
Soil only this last batch of soil I got though had them or whatever , misquito dunks clear it right up and yellow stickies but I've not heard much talk of people having them in there batche of soil or what ...
I have not had gnats or any other bugs. Knock on wood. Next time I will try the two soils mixed with a pocked of mild soil in the center.

My photos sharyer showing nutes def bout week 3 but I was runnin light nutes my autos look oerfect and not added anything X my next batch that I just potted are FFOF happy light warrior middle , lime , happy frog dry nute 3-4-3 and kelp meal so I definatly should be good till the big stretch is done , a lot of people switch to bloom nutes right at pre flowers I wait till that plant stops growing vertical to transition , so hopin adding that 3-4-3 and kelp I got no nutes still bloom is in full swing ... If u read ocean and happy the nut values r bout the same I think a hair off on N BUT NOT BY MYCH I think it's hot cause all the meals and guano and sea stuff we're happy frog mainly contains mycrozhne , and light nutes ... Good to no I can roll with straight FFOF thou

Really? Boy they sure do claim all over the place that it's too hot for seedlings. No nutes for the whole grow?
I don't expect to have to I will let you know.

Here's my two auto's in FFOF just tap water so far:

And these two plants I switched from DWC/Hydro maybe a week and a half ago to just FFOF and tap water:

I have four seeds in FFOF in solo Cups now today we will see if anyone gets burnt. I had some minor burnt tips on old growth of the Sativa after transplant but that went away and never in the new growth which was booming.

Good luck

FYI- I am no expert this is my first grow but you can see my plants and how they're coming along thus far.
