yeah the buds begin to "pod up" as they go into the late stage of flowering. the individual cone-like pods develop more pods on themselves and you end up with almost asparagus tip like growths. Depending on the strain of course.

yep I have noticed this too. The last week or two there is usually some odd looking growth. Weird little shoots on the buds.
Most of my strains do this. The sativa dom I had did it a lot

how do u fast dry?

not recommended, but you can put a bud in the microwave for short intervals, like 5-7 seconds a time, and slowly dry it out that way. Or, you can put it on a warm spot overnight, like your cable box, or modem.

or even the oven at the lowest temp. Mines 175f I think

yes it is true, but we will all define "peak" differently. As time goes by the buds get riper, meaning they increase their canabinoid resin. There are two main canabinoids, CBD and CBN, these are molecules that bind to the same receptors in ur brain as THC, which is produced during curing and ripening as the CBD and CBN break down. CBD and CBN do different things; one provides the heady high, one is the couch lock high. So at some point in the grow, you will have ideal levels of both for your favorite kind of stone. When? Almost no way to tell, but when the trichs are turning amber that is an indication of CBN production. When half are amber you have a good mix of both chemicals which is when most people harvest providing what most would say is the best effect. Some harvest early for the head rush stone and some harvest late for the sleepy stone. It all depends on what ur wanting from the weed. However, it won't start getting less POTENT until u are far far past the best time lol, and no matter what chems are in the plant at harvest, a good cure is what finishes converting those canabinoids to THC which we all seem to enjoy more.

so basically don't WORRY about it, but yes, there is a best time to harvest. the window is large though, days long, so it's hard to miss and impossible to "fuck up".

THC is the main ingredient - but there are other

CBD is not a very strong psychoactive compound WITHOUT THC or THCV , - Sure it will cause minor sedative effects but it primarily affects THC.

CBN is something you do NOT want... Its oxydised THC and its what you find in "old" buds. It does not get you stoned or high ,- Rather it gets you pretty much fucked up... Headaches and vomit ftw. Strains who have intense aroma usually have low CBN levels = Good stuff.

THC = High ( Stimulant like )
CBD = Sedative.

A plant will produce more CBD in the later stages of its flowering but its generally not such a big difference and the prime factors are strain types. A plant chopped to early with a very high CBD % ratio might give you a very clear headed high but it will also increase the likelyhood of paranoia , nausea and some users may experience schizophrenia.

CBD will enhance the high from THC... A plant with high ratio of THC will get you "high" and a plant with high ratio's of CBD will get you "stoned" - What you like is up to you but from my experience the best pot is where there is substantial amount of both... It gives you a "Blissfull Dream" type of high >.<


Sativa's flower for 9-15 weeks.

I recently just harvested my bud 1 thunderfuk, hawaiin mango, and Og kush. They flowered for exactly 9 weeks before they were chopped and personaly i should have waited longer. Something i noticed, and will from now on in follow, is pay close attention to how much stress a plant can take while its in its last two weeks. I babied these plants from day one, checking on them periodically throughout the day to measureing their water, and unfortunatley my thunderfuk turned hermie on me, for what reasons they are unknown, but it roughly had two and half ounces on it with two to go. It was a big loss but a piece of knowledge. Just make make sure you baby them for the last couple of weeks and im positive youll have great bud.

every ones first grow seems to come out crazy my grows always suck and if they even survive there are always some thing seemingly wrong with them and i cant figure out why

hope my first grow comes out almost as good its a seed i found in some mids im givin her lots of love n care n tryin not2 fuck up 2badkiss-ass lol here she is......o n her name is "Mother Terisa"
