finger trimming

I tried "trimming " with just fingers and have to say it was a far more enjoyable experience than using snips. These buds I have are extremely sativa, weird shaped, foxtailed, the thought of trimming with scissors chilled me to the bone so I took the finger approach.. just grabbed at leaf until it was tidyish looking and resembling what I want it to look like .. I won't be going back to scissors now. got it done in half the time and didn't get the usual thumb and back pain I get sitting trying to manipulate scissors for hours on end.

I do the finger trim sort of thing for all my bigger sucker leaves...if you hang it upside down....in a couple of days the suckers will pull off with little or no resistance,by pulling up
on them, mind you on my first outdoor crop I spent close to a month trimming with scissors nightly...it was way too much work....
Also a pair of gloves won't hurt the process either....and will keep you from sticking to things....all night...

Finger trim as in you rip off/out all the leaves with your fingers? Sounds like a huge waste of time and hash and messy besides

its quicker to pull all the big leaves off while they still standing you can use both hands lol
then trim the little leaves off with scissors

Wellx my pov, I like picKing herbs with my fingers. Sticky bud = sticky fingers = finger hash.

i just pull all my fans.. 5 days before the chop. anything with no resin.. goes into a bucket.. then i hang dry .. and dry trim.. i try to get at least 2-8 ozs a day trimmed.. usually takes me anywere from 2-4 weeks to fully trim and cure everything.. the way i staggered things this round. by the time.. i am finished trimming.. i will be harvesting crop 2. dont get me wrong tho.. i use my fingers with gloves on some strains.. some are easier then others. but so far.. i found pulling 75% of the fans off 5 days before chop.. works great to make trimming easier..

but when your workin 30-40 hours a week.. and ontop of that.. growing.. .its hard to sit and trim all at one time..
