Finally, Finally, Finally ( LED PC cab critique)

After many a trial and error with this DIY Led cab, periods of being low on funds, and moving I finally have a working piece. Small, but working :hump:. Thank goodness!

Drivers: Meanwell Lpc 60-1400 for the LED
Meanwell Lpv 60-12 for the fans

The Cab covered in Reflectix, don't know why it's sideways though.

Top view of exhaust, I have a hepa carbon filter sandwiched in there. You can also see my drivers.

The top of my very ugly DIY LED Rig. So many little wires running everywhere

The bottom with the Cree CXA2530 4000K (CXA2530-0000-000N00U20E5-ND) held in by a molex holder. You can see the TIM left over from my first attempt on the sides of the aluminum strip.

Growing begins as soon as I sell enough on Ebay to pay for a nice PH and PPM meter from BlueLab.

Why is it not mounted directly to the heatsink? Would the molex holder not mount properly or is in the way somehow?

Seems like you could have just thrown a fan or 2 or 3 on the aluminum block you mounted the module to?

Other than that, fuck yeah CXA's in a pc cab, kudo's well done!

Abiqua: Thanks! They aren't on the heatsinks because this is a redesign of another light I messed up. The heatsinks already had been drilled into and so I figured why not keep them on the Aluminum strip. It also allows me to be able to throw a couple red LEDs on the ends of the strip no problem. That was the original plan anyway.
