FIM my planted 3 days ago

hello all i FIMed my plants 3 days ago i was wondering would you guys wait for the new shoots to come before you started LST my room height is 6ft... is why i kinda wanted to keep them low and bushy ive been reading up on scrog...wouldnt lst do the samething?

I FIM and LST all my plants. What I usually do is FIM it once it gets to about 6-8" tall. Then I let the 2 new tops grow out for another week, then start tying everything down. I grow with T5 lights so I don't get lots of light penetration and this method allows me to keep the plants under 2ft tall and they are pretty bushy. I don't take many pictures, but this plant was grown in a 5 gallon bucket and was 18" tall.
