Fighting Bladder Cancer with Cannabis

Hi,
I wrote this on the Colorado board, but want to make sure enough people see it so I'm posting it here too:

Hello All,

I am new to the forum.
Was happy to find a Colorado board for patients.

My SO and I are dealing with cancer. The long term bf has bladder cancer,
had his bladder removed, then found out last week that the bladder cancer cells
had still moved to his lymph nodes. Basically, the bladder didn't come out in time.
Dissection and removal of the nodes is out of the question, according to our surgeon...
We've already been through chemotherapy and seen the devastating effects.
We are refusing to do it again. We both believe it will end up killing him faster. He has 19 months (at most)
to live if we can't slow it down.

Fast forwarding the story.. I've been studying the power of CBD's and their powerful
anti-cancer anti-tumor properties. We've decided it's time to grow it because we
can't afford to buy hash shots (cannabis oil) every week. We would like to go with auto-flowering
strains, because, A) It's winter B) They don't need the 12/12 rule, and C) Faster results.
From those we hope to make the oil.

Would any one know a good strain that might be higher in CBD content, to make the oil? I know, hard question..
But any recommendations on that, and growing methods, would be appreciated. We already
have some decent grow lights, and a warm place.. Also good soil.

We will be going with Rick Simpson's guide on making the oil.

Right now, we have 1 pound of leaves (I've read in multiple places that
the leaves actually possess higher CBD content than the buds), cuttings,
and bud clippings that were literally GIVEN to us for free from a local dispensary who really
empathized with our situation. So we will be using some good medicinal strains to make
our first batch of oil.

However, when that's out we will are hoping to have grown our own and be ready..
Any strain suggestions or other advice of ANY SORT really, is appreciated..

Harlequin and pennywise are remarkably high in cbd.

Take no ones medical advice but your doctors and the legitimate published oncology researchers. Avoid rick simpson, he lies for self aggrandisement. Contrary to what he and his army of forum bots say, you can achieve far purer extracts with bho, and the medical studies which linked cannabinoids to apostasis of gliomas all dealt with direct application of purified isolates, not oral consumption of ricks version of a long abandoned extraction technique from a seventies high times artie which yields a far more watered down extract. I know he and the few people who took his treatments effectively are very vocal and will loudly and constantly reassure you that they can perform miracles, but take those claims with a grain of salt amd examine the actual science behind them and you will find he is a very misguided man peddling hope to the unfortunate for profit and fame (he makes a load selling to dispensaries, which in turn charge loads to patients despite its relative impurity and many many real world examples of the treatment failing, entirely on strength of his cult following as a healer of all) it would be all be fine if it were true, of course, but unfortunately his information is incorrect and outdated. Bho is far closer to the pure isolate used in remission studies. Co2 is in fact the solvent used by them, and thus is is only co2 isolates which are shown to cause apostasis when applied to gliomas, but it yields only a marginally purer isolate and cannot be worked with as easily at home.

Good luck. Just because I advised against false hope and a particular shiester, please don't think I mean don't have hope - just place your hope in the right place, with accurate scientific information and the sound advice of your medical practicioner, not in the pseudoscience of a false miracle worker. You can accomplish anything, no one else is required!
