say your plants are 12" tall when you switch the lights to 12/12 double would be 24"tall....so a plant 12" tall could end up being over 40" tall

hard to see the yellow in that pic but what soil are you using?and any nutes?

im using a foxfarm organic soil and fox farm nuts for veg and i got a bottle for flower

I know FF soil runs a bit hot, I wouldn't be giving it too many nutes if they haven't been in Veg very long. And I would make sure your pH is around 6.8 with Fox Farm nutes, I ran it at around 6.5 and had lockout issues, adding lime to the soil in the future wouldn't be a bad idea.

the yellowing of the leaves is not getting any better .

Do us a favor and more details/more picts with out the hps. Just use that florescent I saw in the background. Details like what is the last thing you gave the plants before they yellowed, temp., anything you can think of that changed from what you normally had going on.

Why can't you put a plant in the flower room to sex it? A clone would take 2 weeks just to get ready to flower besides you will end up with 24 plants if take two clones off each one. Fox farm is real hot dial it back.and yes your pots are small go for at least three gallons I would do five for flower.

When Ive used Fox Farm I rotated from feed to water with some hygrowzime to get those roots nice and clean. They even recommend to rotate there line with some plain water on there feeding schedule so maybe your getting a lock out if your feeding to much. Also keep a good cal-mag + going. Remember there line is not all organic so, I wouldn't recommend heavy feeding unless your plants using it as fast as your giving it.
