few questions about upcoming big run

I've been able to gather I'm guessing 12-14 ounces of lower buds and trim for my upcoming run. I've done lots of small runs, but nothing close to this, and have never tried winterizing, and would also like to do that on this big run.
since I've yet to winterize anything, that's my main concern. I've got the gist of how to do it,I'm just not sure how I'm going to do a few things, and if I have all the right equipment.
the first thing I'm not sure about is, what do I blast into? I've always used the standard flat Pyrex dish I see everyone else using. Then I scrape onto parchment, and into the vac chamber. But I'm thinking since this is going to be alot bigger than my previous runs, and I want to winterize, should I instead, blast in let's say a Pyrex measuring cup? I wonder if a 16 oz Pyrex measuring cup would work? How much everclear should I use and does it matter?
I just bought a 16 oz measuring cup at Wal-Mart thinking I would use it. It was the biggest one they had. But I'm thinking I will need to buy a 1.75 liter bottle of everclear 190 proof, for 12-14 oz worth of trim.
I was also thinking it would be best to blast all of the product into one container, making it easier to handle. But I'm thinking if I blast all 14 oz's into one 16 oz measuring cup, I will then only be able to pour less than two cups of everclear.
Once I have all that taken care of, and its been in the freezer, and I've poured through the filter, is there any good leftovers on the filter, or is it considered trash?
I'm sure there lots more questions to come. Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the double quote there. here's what my friend and I do. we haven't been doing this too long but been working out pretty good. spray hieverything into a pyrex dish. scrape it off once the butane has evaporated. you can use a hot water bath or not its up to you we usually just let it sit out overnight. boil some water and then take it outside. we then fill up a mason jar with alcohol and place it in there for a couple minutes until it's about 85 or 90. we then scrape out the pan and put the material in the jar. shake it around until it dissolves. we then take a styrofoam cooler and put about 20 or 30 bucks worth of dry ice in there with the jar and let it sit a few hours. we Then take a buchner funnel and vaccum flask and filter the solution inside the cooler. we then pour in a pan evaporate and purge as usual in a vac chamber.

hi, thanks chernobe.
ok so I'm still a bit confuse about the filtering process, never even heard of a buchner funnel until now . Did a quick Google search and it said lab equipment used for filtering. I gotta say that sounds better than a coffee filter, but I think a coffee filter is what I'll be using.
I've also been putting this off because I was under the impression I had to mix the bho into the ethanol immediately after blasting to start the winterizing process. If that's not the case, I could just make it like usual and break it up and winterize one fourth at a time? I think that would be alot easier rather than doing it all at once.
I'll more than likely be using jars and my freezer.

Yes I don't see why you couldn't. I'm not an expert or anything but we have let a pan sit out a week or more and didn't notice a difference. It was an old trim run so it was dark anyways, not sure if letting it sit that long is bad for the final color of it. I tried winterizing a half oz of wax with a full mason jar of iso 99 and coffee filters. It worked over night but I did tap the filter once in a while. On a 2 oz run it was such a pain in the ass that I asked for help on here and another member showed me a buchner filter. You can get the flask, filter and paper for under 100 and it just connects to your vac pump. Just filter it cold and it works very well Imo

so I'm doing it right now. I was able to stuff 5.85 ounces per tube, two tubes. I ran two cans of glow butane 5x thru each tube. I'll do a second run later tonight or tomorrow in another dish with two cans per tube again. And I'll probably do a third run since I'm only doing two cans at a time. here's what it's looking like right now

Yea I was going to do that today. I'll start out with trying half.
it's been in the vac chamber all night. I think it looks very good. I think my best batch yet.

It looks exactly the same as last night before I put in the vac to let it sit all night.
I guess it's kinda like peanut butter. Can't see through it, and it doesn't bubble in the vac Chamber. Temp has been around 115 all night.

When are you gonna winterize?
I definitely wouldbefore you vac anymore.and lower temps
I was planning on trying to winterize later today. I still have to go into town and get a bottle of everclear. Is it bad to vac before winterizing? Here's another pi, I just flipped it over

Whatever I quit
That's a poor attitude..... not only do you have this entire forum at your fingertips to do your own research but you also have 2 members trying to assist you. One of them who even took the time to spell out the process completely for you. It's your own fault for not following directions. I suggest you should quit, it's idiots like you who blow themselves up. Good day sir.
