fertilizer or fertilizers?

i was wondering if i should change the fertilizer throughout the growth of my plant? if so what are some recommendations

please help

Using quality fertilizers, the only change you should really make is from veg to flowering mixes. The average vegging plant should have a ratio around 5-4-3, while flowering plants will typically need a ratio closer to 3-4-5 and more of it. The plants all like variety and no one fertilizer is perfect for every plant, so using a few different (good quality) ferts is always a good idea. These can be mixed together or applied separately, switching between different ferts. Most fertilizer regimens involve alternating feedings with plain waterings.

Some of the best fertilizers imo include Bone, Blood & Kelp Meals; Fish Emulsion (5-1-1); Bat & Seabird Guanos; Maxicrop soluble seaweed powder (1-0-4); Worm Castings and Palm Bunch Ash (0-0-30).

Hi, what one's are you using at the moment? Why would you feel the need to change if they are growing well with what you already got. you growing in soil or hydro?

I like variety in my grows so I tend to do this in flower (figure three waterings a week)
Watering 1) checmical ferts (killing off old supply,eventual plan is to replace with a top dress and just water)
watering 2) organic ferts (guanos in water)
watering 3) checmical boosters (whatever your tastes, I use snow storm and Im trying to kill a gallon of hydroplex Ive got sitting around) - this will always be the most non-organic part of my grows.
watering 4) just water/tea
repeat.

Always including my carbs and organic micros in each.
Its been suggested that I move things around to be (chemical,chemical,organic, water) to give the soil life time to recover from the chems but I do think some of the talk about nutes killing soil life is a little exagerated in the short term. Yes just using chems will kill the soil over time but I belive when used in a balanced feeding schedule there is much to be gained by taking the best of both worlds. Just dont get to chem happy and I think things turn out just dandy.

Should I change?

Soil and fertilizer are two very different things. If you don't know this you are probably not ready to grow. I recommend at least 40-60 hours of reading and researching before starting a grow. Purchase a cannabis horticulture book, Greg Green and Jorge Cervantes write excellent grow books.

Your fertilizer is typically a liquid solution you feed your plants with when they are dry. Not all growers use fertilizer in the first month of growth because soil (happy frog) comes with a limited supply of fertilizer in it. Please observe at least 2 grow journals all the way through and you will understand. Try and replicate success and avoid any and all advise from ghetto growers. Not all grow journals are good examples. But in speaking off success, Technaflora sells a complete and very inexpensive fertilizer kit that seriously kicks ass. "Technaflora's Recipe for Success Kit" is only 35 bucks for everything you need for your first grow or 2.


Edit: took me a minute to realize I'm in organics. Fucking half my info is wrong now. Not all organic fertilizers are liquid, and technaflora is not organic. BioBizz is organic, however. BioBizz sells an affordable and complete starter kit too, but I do not know the price. BioBizz is another example of liquid fertilizers. Also look into Roots Organics, GeneralOrganics, and Organicare's liquid fertilizer. I've used all but Roots Organics, which I hear is absolutely amazing.
