Favorit Nutrient Lines

Anyone have any nutrient lines to suggest? I'm curious on what lines are able to produce the most yield mainly, but the taste is always important as well. We currently use General Hydroponics FloraNova series and have had pretty good luck with it, but would like to try some other things if it doesn't sacrifice yield.

Any comments help! Thanks!

GH Flora 3 part.
I have a question about this… I know people that use it and never asked them about it, but I asked a guy at the grow store that seemed to know his stuff and he said that FloraNova is actually superior to the Flora 3 part… So he was saying Flora Nova is the highest synthetic line that they have… I never looked into it further than that though.

Many commercial greenhouses that produce ornamentals, lettuce, herbs and the like use gh 3 part. It allows flexibility in feed ratios and to those that are familiar with it can achieve superior results with minimal expenditure.

All I use is gh 3 part and calimagic. A little ph down. That's it, no magic additives and I'm easily pulling a gram per watt regardless of dwc, flood n drain, coco. Although performance in dwc is staggering.

I've been using it since 92 only trying other stuff occasionally but always going back to gh 3 part.

Wow! Would love to get 1 gpw…

Do you know if they are the same ingredients at the end of the day as FloraNova series? I know it gives you more control, but I kind of want to know why exactly this guy thought it was a step down from FloraNova… I was thinking that the 3 step would be better because of the flexibility..

Everything is dialed in with a constant 1500 Co2, temp in the low 80s, humidity 50-60%…. They are getting watered every 3-4 days in HP Pro Mix… Trying to water over the period of a couple hours so the water is completely absorbed by the peat moss.. So basically, trying to make sure everything is perfect for them… The plants were FIMed twice and allowed to stay in veg for a full two weeks to recover before going into flower… Then they were low stress trained… SO hopefully can get close to a 1 gpw… Only issue is there's only 2 plants per light, which I don't think is ideal, but they do have a lot of tops on them from the FIM and Low stress…

Have a little yellowing from Calmg deficiency, but it's not to the the point where there are tons of leaves are falling off… Gave them a good dose and they seem to be getting greener now...

AN's 3 part is actually an exact copy of the GH 3 part.

They reverse engineered GH's recipes exactly, so the products are basically equivalent.

I used to use GH flora 3 part and liked it the best until I started making my own with raw salts.

Why do you like it so much?

well it was the 1st nute line I used when I got started growing. i got it free from a vendor at an open house. sure theres 6 bottles for flower (I don't use any nutes in veg (not counting when I add veg nutes when I flip for added N)). you do not need to ph the nute solution. 6.5ph every time, even when mixing at 1/2 strenght. I get huge yields. sorry but i don't post numbers, but its well above the normal gram/watt ratio. i also don't use any boosters or other additives besides molasses 4x during the entire veg/flower cycles.

like the old saying goes, if it aint broke, don't fix it. or in my case, don't switch nute companies when the current is growing very well.

I think it is dumb to to be beholden to one company. From my experience every company seems to have different products that out perform others. If we were talking just base nutrients, I would have to say Heavy 16 and House and Garden have the best base nutrients. When it comes to 3 parts Grow More's 3 part is both better and more economical than AN and GH, I want to say it contains the same marcro content, but has a higher amounts of micros and is more concentrated.

I think its dumb to change whats been working perfectly for 2.5 years, no?
Was not directed to you. I was speaking more to the people looking to change and think they have to run just one nutrient line....

Do what works for you!

I prefer... BioCanna.. the yields aren't huge.. but the smell and taste is amazing.. with some really crystally nug..

I use Substra A + B Flores too..

and fox farms.. all 3 do amazing things. lol.... ive also realized u don't need nearly as much as recommended on the bottles.. I use 1/4 strength wat the recommended dose is.. and get amazing results every time.

I use the entire botanicare line up as well as other organics. So far so good. As far as best goes...House and Garden. Hands down. It's just expensive. Very.
