Hi This is my first grow. It is outdoors in smart pots have 2 rascal og in 7 gal pots recipe 420 soil, 1 gorilla glue #4 in same pot and soil and 1 purple diesel in 15 gal smart in happy frog soil, they are all clones. They all just started their 3rd week of flower. In veg I fed them a 5-1-1 fish emulsion w/ kelp, ff grow big, sea green and sometimes a little dte fish powder 12-1-1. I water either everyday or every other depending on the heat ( I am in Nor- Cal in the valley) at the first week of flower I started giving them tiger bloom ( 1/4 strength first week) the fish emulsion, sea green and once a week budswell powder ( 2 tbls gal). The 2nd week tiger bloom 1/2 strength, sea green and 2 full strength doses of protekt pottasium silicate ( I used this by itself) now in my 3rd week gave tiger bloom 2 tspn gal , sea green and budswell. Also I use tap water. Starting about a couple weeks ago my gorilla glues large fan leaves began to pale and we're somewhat mottled with bleached spots I also noticed that the leaves felt gritty and papery. I was pulling them off not waiting for them to fall off on third own ( now I think I should of left them) the gorilla glue now has none of it's original fan leaves left. Last week both my rascal og started to do the same thing. I've noticed it is usually always the oldest leaves that do this but I am getting it occasionally now on newer growth. I have researched this quite a bit but every condition I have read about doesn't quite fit. I first thought it was a nitrogen deficiency but they don't have darker green in the margins the whole leaf pales instead. Any ideas maybe a PH problem? From what I can tell the buds seem to be forming ok. Thanks for any help you can give.IMG_20170813_192156314.jpg

Ok I see everyone got their questions answered but me that's ok because I'm pretty sure your answers would not be helpful anyway seeing as no one agrees on anything here and usually all the answers totally contradict each other. I think this forum only exists to stroke your egos and I bet half of the pictures you guys post on here of your grows are probably stolen off the internet while you have a couple of straggly plants in your bedroom closet at your parents house!

Calm down bruh lol. Sometimes posts get overlooked before someone takes notice. Anyway, your plant is looking like it needs calcium. Cal-mag will do, or if you're growing organic some oyster shell flour. It looks pretty good for a first go at it. Now that it's flowering keep your eye out for deficiencies other than your calcium problem. You want to catch things early so you can get the most out of your plant.

edit: Sorry just realized your not a bruh. Also pulling fan leaves off while you have a def just causes it to spread to other leaves. Best to leave then until you get a handle on the problem.

There's a lot of reasons why leaves would show that, specially outdoors.

Are you watering enough to see runoff from your pot? It's possible that the plant is not properly uptaking all that nutrient you put in.

What's the ph of your runoff? I'm not familiar with the soil grow but I would still consider the ph runoff.

With your nutrients...all that stuff....what makes you decide to use all of them? I'm a believer of less is better and I'll let the plant do the talking. With all that nutrient, it's hard to say for sure what is the problem. You could have a specific nutrient lockout or even toxicity. Too much potassium can lock out magnesium

Lastly, pests, pests can carry viruses, you might want to spray nem oil just to be sure

Just an opinion, I'm no expert

And welcome to RIU

:peace:

First off, chill, people take time to answer stuff... give it a couple days. I know it's hard when you are worried about the girls, but insulting the people trying to help you won't get an answer faster.

Hard to tell what's going on with those pictures... angles and lighting are playing mind games with me.

The bud picture look like some of the leaves could be taco'ing. That is a sign of heat stress, but the full plant picture doesn't show it... maybe put some shade(a light sheet) over them to stop the direct sunlight?

The picture of the full plant, I see some lightening of leaves towards the bottom... generally not a major issue when going into flower.

The leaf picture, although spotting is tied to a variety of nutrient deficiencies, usually those deficiencies present with a leaf color change, and depending on if it happens at the bottom of the plant, or on new growth... could be a number of things. Since that leaf doesn't really have yellowing between the veins, or tips... my guess would be a pest issue?

Maybe a top down shot of the leaves both old and new growth may help people figure it out more?

In the smart pots, you can sometimes roll the pot down to inspect the root ball, but be careful if you do that, but not all pests are visible to the naked eye...

Good luck!

What did I get a vote for ? Being an asshole probably huh lol
It is how people handle it after going off that matters sometimes more. I like the way you handled it after. I usually check a few posts each day. Yesterday I remember looking at yours before you got a response and did not know what to suggest.
