title says it all, is it safe to defoliate? I'm not too deep in the vegetation stage and the leaves on the nodes are drooping i'm guessing from the lack of sunlight.

In veg its relatively uncotroversial... in flower its hottly debated... if ur in veg n they are ggoing to crap grab em `(now thats fine for a few but if they are droopi g en mass you may have other issues) , are u sure tho that leaves are drooping because they are too shaded? They often droop for new growers who are in soil because they water the piss out of em till they are beat up looking... not saying u are but more info and pics could help...

I'll get pics tomorrow, i'm sure it's not because of overwatering, it doesn't look the same.

Circulate air and maintain warmth in the dark cycle and don't over water to prevent droopy leaves. I remove 1 set of fans at a time and move up the plant about every 4 days. You have to let those budding sites get light to develop. Mine turn into a bush in a months time from seed germination.

Gonna have to see pics because I have leafs at the bottoms of my plant that are in 90% shade and they aren't droopy at all.

The nodes don't need direct light. The more fan leaves you have turning light into food for the plant the faster your plant will grow. They are solar panels and have huge amounts of surface area to catch photons compared to the small leaves at the nodes. If you want the nodes to grow out faster then top the plant or bend the top over so it's lower and that will cause the nodes to grow out to become side branches.

Plant mutilation is a crime and must stop! lol

:peace:

Budding sites are more important than big ass non psycho active medicine producing fan leaves. Put those fan leaves in a blender with OJ and drink em and give those bud sites the direct light they seek. Peace n pot.
