Faking it til I make it

Fellow growers my first real attempt at growing so far has been a long stressful experience so far (ten weeks yesterday). I started out growing in my garage in a 4x4x6.5 tent with intentions to scrog. They were all topped with uncle ben's method. Temps were getting too hot I made the mistake of not having a window. So two weeks ago I put them outside. I tied the branches to stakes and they're doing wel so far. I just fed them a compost/fert tea today. This tread will be my running log until harvest. I encourage you to follow along and help a brother out. Peace

Here are the girls today. Tune in in a few days to see if i killed em

Your plants should stretch before the rain hits and give you a good idea on how high to make the cover. It's always a crap shoot when you grow outside so many variables

Hope so brotherman. Worried about bud rot already. I want to make a roof with pvc pipe and plastic green house tarp. Worried about how big they might get. I may die of stress before a harvest a gram
I've made just about every mistake imaginable this year, including killing some plants. That's all in the past and out of my control, I can only worry about doing my best going forward. My point is: relax and have fun with it, you look like you're doing just fine. Stressing out is never productive, be like water. :weed:

Sorry to hear about the rough growing year. So much can go wrong man. You're right it's best not to stress. Everyday it's something though like today the top soil looks not so airy and fuzzy/moldy. Only a matter of time

Wow for what sounded like a rough start, in the beginning, those plants are looking pretty damn nice! You still got a long way until harvest but you sure are off to a great start! Best of luck to you man!!!!

Very healthy, keep up the good work. The white mold on your soil is fungus and a sign of healthy soil, a blessing not a curse!

Hey thanks Dave. Feels good to get a compliment from peeps who know their shit. Spent a lot of time and energy on these things think about em all the time lol. Can't wait to get a perpetual grow going. I kind of submitted to the elements this go around so whatever it is it is. My goals going forward are to prevent mold and harvest at the right time

You'll also want to watch out for budworms, as I'm sure you're probably aware if you've spent any time in this sub-forum. They will wreak absolute havoc, like losing entire colas to rot kind of havoc. When flowering time rolls around, look out for white moths hanging around your plants and if you find tiny white eggs, get 'em before they get you.

I don't want to worry you, but forewarned is forearmed, as they say...whoever they are. :bigjoint:

I am worried about them. I've made a couple threads about em. I'm not sure what to do. BT from what I can see is the best choice. Spray in veg and a couple weeks of flower? Is that the general rule? Taste will just be shittier?

I spray my plants every week in veg.with either neem,Protekt & dust with DT this seems to keep them away for me without spraying in flower.Marco,Thumper or Getaway would have the best preventative program for your area.

I'm not sure why I have a desire to document my grow. They make me happy and I'm proud I guess.

They all reacted well to the tea I applied since my first post; 3c all purpose down to earth, 2c ewc, 1c Neptune harvest liquid fish, 4 drops from the bottle of molasses. 5 gallons rainwater.

I love the way the first one pictured is growing. Two beast colas, a lot of close node growth recently

I think the last one pictured will be the biggest and best quality yielder though. Super lemon haze.

I transplanted that clone from a solo cup to the ~5gal pot. I tried to clone all the tops after I topped them all at the second node. This one is the only to survive. It really took off so I made that move to a bigger pot.

They've been dropping at the first sight of sun in the morning, then spring up after I water. Is there dry patches? My pots are prob too small, 5 gallons?

I appreciate all comments and suggestions! Peace
