Exactly 4 weeks into flowering today........chunking up nicely. Very leafy, which comes from the BlackDomina- trimming will be a chore no doubt. Smell continues to get stronger, I'd say a 6/10 as of now. Still, buds are unbelievably developed for just 28 day of flowering. I'm figuring 4-5 weeks to go, max- I'll be letting these go til about 40%-50% amber trichomes for full effect.

At exactly 5 weeks flowering today, things are progressing very nicely. Smell continues to build, it's quite stinky at this point. I've had to take extra measures to keep it at bay. The buds are gaining in size, as you can see when comparing pic's. I've gone thru and removed 2 large size sun leaves on each plant to help air circulation, light penetration and at this point, there's no reason to start removing a few slowly every couple of days- the plant just doesn't need this many leaves as growing will continue to slow as the bud's swell and finish off in the next 3+ weeks or so. This crop, I also reduced my Cal/Mag fertilization, and I'm see minor "Taco-ing" on some of the leaves- I'll have to bump this up the next few weeks so be aware of that if you grow the strain (I'm back at 10ml per gallon), it loves it's cal/mag for sure. Otherwise, I couldn't be happier and very anxious to give it a smoke in early May.......

Today is week 6 in flowering, moving along nicely. Some of the smaller perimeter buds are already starting to brown up a bit. But I still expect to go at least another 2 more weeks, if not more. The plants have begun to use a bit less water, and I'm now watering every third day instead of every other day, which is a sign of starting to finish up. The smell is really strong, just keeps getting worse each week. I upped the cal/mag again, as slight "tacoing" continues but I generally lower or stop it the last 2 weeks. I'll probably continue the cal/mag another week and cut back the bloom booster this week too. Lastly, I continue to chop off 2 leaves off each plant every couple days, as it's still leafy and I'm trying to get the light down to some of the lower buds. Another week or so and I'll really start eliminating the larger sun leaves to make it easier to trim at the end. No complaints, a wonderfully uniform grow that stayed short and bulky. I haven't tested any of the more done buds yet but by next weekend, I'll find something far along and dehydrate it as an early test........lastly, if you compare pic's, you can see how much they "bulked" up in just a week!

I use two 1000 watt HPS.......nothing else. The picture is taken thru special glasses to remove the yellow glare.

I use HPS lighting for the entire grow, although early on I run the ballast at 600 watts, then up to 750 watts and then about day 15-17, I go to 1000 watts. Without pic's it's hard for me to comment but I will say normally, growth early on is about how much light they are getting (and the overall health of the plants). Post a pic, let me take a look, and maybe I can offer a few suggestions. But fill me in, what size pot are you using, what kind of fertilizer and how much, how many plants are you growing, etc., etc.......the more info you give, the more I can analyze everything. Happy to help if I can.....

I am very very impressed at the grow..you did well..I even ordered some to grow outdoors...give it a shot...its a fast finisher so will miss most of our bad weather...keep posting as i really want to see the final outcome...and maybe a taste test...I looked at thier seed selection an they seem to have some nice strains...looking at yours at least they are growers an not duds..only down fall is its like a head of cabbage ..very leafy from your pics..makes for a bad trim day..lol...again I am impressed by your grow...you rocked them good...thats a 5 star grow...

Black Domina is well known to be a leafy plant......but slowing picking a leaf here and there towards the end will make final harvest a bit easier. Outdoors though, I bet will be a real bitch to trim up. The high and taste are the only questions now, as the yield appears to be heavy and on the mark.

Expert Seeds also has a sister company called Garden of Green, but I haven't gotten anything from them yet......but it's coming soon enough.

Purple stems at this point is a deficiency........I saw no purple in any of the 24 plants, so it's not genetics. I'd guess you need more magnesium, so bump up your cal/mag or add epsom salts (1 tablespoon per gallon) for a while. It should improve. This strain IS a cal/mag whore, I never gave it enough. Next grow it's 10ml per gallon every watering til the last 10 days.

I use the Pro-mix BX with Mycro's in it. It's pricey but a real solid product for marijuana growth. Always add more lime and perlite to it though.......

Today is 7 weeks flowering, no pic's this week since I posted those 2 a couple of days ago. Perimeter plants are finishing, plants getting a lot of light are going to need more time. My plan is to wait, wait and wait- maybe by next Monday (8 weeks) I'll start to chop the most done plants, but I'm still figuring day 60-63 for the others......

Are you telling me that plant is a month old????? If so, you better go back to the drawing board with your system cause it's out of whack. The plant should be at least 18-20 inches tall and bushy by now. I had mine in flowering at 28 days, go back and look at the pic's. My first guess is not enough light, but without more info, I can't help. Is the light too far away from the plant? Something just isn't right......

Ya its 4wks old it was sitting in bottom of tent for 12hrs while lights
are on for my wwxbb then moved it under tube lights for another 6hrs moved it closer to light as much as I can its 24 inches away from light at the minute just bit tight for space got another 2wks left on wwxbb after that I can concentrate the whole tent to it. This pic of my wwxbb
