Exhaust Vent in Bathroom Grow Room

I tried to make it as readable as possible...the actual fan is a form of plastic...it is louder than I would like but I'll work on that..and, it doesn't really matter if it is that quit. It is a townhouse and I live alone. Anyways, can someone tell me if it seems I got a good thing going? I didn't install this, it was already there....I'm researching what the heck to do with it as far as odor control...is it cool to leave this one in there?

I'd leave it there. Put a filter over it if need be, if its too loud leave it off.

I definately plan on using it, just wasn't sure if it was good or bad for the purpose of a carbon filter or whatever type of odor control option there is....any tips would rock! Thanks for the response friend.

It would work fine, I would stop by my local hardware store and get one of those activated carbon box filters for $15 and duct tape it over the fan when it starts to stink.

That fan is not going to make or break your set up - they're inserts for what's sometimes referred to as a fart-fan, and Home Depot sells them for $12-15.
It'll move maybe 50 cfm - and you could slap a carbon filter on it - to reduce exhaust smell. Since it's there - utilize it.

U rock man...that is exactly what I will do. I had thought those carbon filters were WAY more expensive than that...15 bucks? you have made my day...I guess I have been looking at the wrong stuff on the internet cause the ones I see are mad expensive.

Yea, but I am just worried about the smell, not my grow. Prepping for when they start to get stanky. =P
