I've voted for "doesn't matter to me i just grow weed". I have respect for some breeder's work but I have no problem with other companies using these strains. It's no secret recipe like for Coca Cola and we should all be interested in the development of any promising or established strain.
Also, Lots of the original strains are only available as regular seeds. While i respect the decision of the breeders not to release a feminized version of their gear i still want to or have to grow fems. I would be really grateful for any company to release a fem version of any bodhi strain, many Mr Nice strains, Sensi stuff, whatever. For example, if i want to grow AK47 in limited space i would go with Pyramid's selected fems and not with the original. If i am really interested in the strain and have time and space then i would probably go with the original breeder's gear but why not throwing in some other company's version of the same stuff?

Also, why should i buy an original strain for a lot of money if i only read bad things about it in forums? Some genetics are just degraded or tricky to grow but some other company may have stabilized it or made it easier to grow? Info from other growers and from internet research influence my decision more than any ethics because i just want nice results.

Sannie is as straight as they come, feel comfortable making a purchase. I have sent cash in an envelope with no problems at all.
And I agree with your assessment, same point as I have made in this thread. Sannie has worked the hell out of his version of Jack Herer. He has bred the traits he desires (which is also what we desire) and after all that, it isnt Sensi jack anymore. it is better, and half the price.
I've read the good reports. It's mainly the poor reports on sensi that would make me try this. I've seen more bad report from sensis jack than good for a long while. Some say they lost the parents. And if that's the case the real version is gone for good. But when it comes to selecting everyone is different. Of the 16 or so MNS strains I've tried I've like 99% but for some reason I dislike the mango haze. On the other hand I have "friends" who can't wait for more. But for me I try every so often. I pick up a nice nug and no matter if I pack a bowl or roll a log. I never get more than a few puffs into it and I wonder why I tried it again! So although Sannies maybe great and the best shot now I'll always wonder what phenos have been suppressed. Can you tell a bit more on how sannie ships?

If you're not comfortable sending cash in an envelope, Cannazon sells Sannies gear and you can use credit card.

FWIW, Sannie and Cannazon have the best stealth shipping I have seen. Probably not a good idea to elaborate on stealth, but trust me when I say they are both top notch.

I inderstand what you are saying. But the real versions can't ever be feminized. They come from a male pollinating a female. Once you eliminate the male you're "working" it and changing it. Its all about the relationship with dominate and recessive genes. You eliminate the male you change that relationship.

agreed! Good to know but no cash in mail for me. And I have to know how it shows up on my card. Is there a western union option? That's another thing attitude had going for it. It showed up stealth. Unlike the local hydro store. They really need to think before they name some of the grow shops!?!???!!

I just went to cannazon. They say sannie but when you click on it - it says brand not found. I've never seen that site before. In a quick look it could be set up better. Surely things I haven't seen before.

Hmmm. I don't recall what showed up on the credit card bill when I ordered through Cannazon. I do know that they accept Western Union for sure

So what's the problem with that? As i said above, if someone has the time and space to run a whole line of regular seeds to find the keeper then they will do it. But think of the people who have limited space or time.

The Sannies Jack F8 is in stock
I saw that after I posted. I'm not sure how I would decide between the 2. It would be the first time I bought a worked line. I'm well out from trying them. I've got 3-4 strains I haven't popped yet and 2 long sativas strains I'm working in now. Nev haze is about 3 weeks in and the doors seedlings just got transplanted. I planned on running them together but for the first time I went 0-6 on females. So as soon as I saw male flowers. I popped 6 more. It works in my favor in the end. The nev haze I got 4/6 females and they've taken all the space anyway. Being the first run they were taller than normal. I topped them at first set of full leaves. Then waited so I could get good cuttings. Then I waited for them to get past the stress of cuttings and growing full speed before I flip them. So these ladies were about 24-29 inches tall before the stretch. So now at 3 weeks one by one I'm pulling down the branches that get to close to the light.

To each his own. Theres a lot of people who don't understand as much as we might. But the fact still remains they are different. And what's better is in the eye of the beholder.

That's right. I forgot about the medical discount with doctors note. Plus a volume discount for anyone. And that's an everyday deal offered. If your patient you can't beat the auctions. Unless you want certain strains everyone watches all year long. I don't think you'll find a breeder that treats you better than MNS. My first purchase went attitude because I wanted MNS and serious seeds. They gave me 5 free beans all dinafem. After that I was interested in g13/haze. So I emailed MNS because I wanted some clarity as to the rumors. Shanti emailed back himself a few days later with the answers. PLUS he offered me a free pack to see if I liked it. So I signed up for the auctions because I loved the fact he replied quickly and couldn't have been more helpful. No pack came with less than 20 beans. That's 33% free before discounts. Never mind shipping is INCLUDED in the auction price. Packs say 15 but come with 18 from him directly it's never been less than 20 per straw. Once I sent a little to much money and they threw extra beans of all the strains I ordered. Another time Simone was away when I sent in my order. Since there was a slight delay they threw in a pack of beans I had not tried. Other than choosing to use western union I couldn't dream of a compliant after 3-4 years of business.
Wow that's really nice to hear. Bodhi is a similar type cat with his generosity. Makes it easy to support a company like that.

I've gotta give that auction a whirl. Sounds great

If you take your time you'll be fine. A couple of things to help you. Sign up a month before you want to bid. You need a screen name ect and and it took a few weeks for them approve it or register it. Every strain isn't offered every week. When posted auctions close new ones go up a day or so later and they rotate. It helps create demand. They give you a month now to pay. So you'll have roughly 4 different sets of auctions before your payment is due. Be online when the auction nears closing. Anyone who gets out bid during the last 5 minutes EXTENDS the auction another 5 minutes. Each bid you need to use password to confirm bid. So don't try to out bid with 10 secs on the clock you might not get it in on time. I can manage it now that I'm use to it but I lost my first auction playing that game. They also use commas as we would decimals in the states so $46.55 = 46,55

A lot of people still don't realize that cannabis is not completely legal everywhere, some people are still doing micro grows in their pcs or little fridges. Some people are doing 20 lights at a time, it is all about what you can get to work for you and how you utilize it.

Another tip. Contact them at sales and ask for a price list and discounts. They'll tell you exactly what they are. If I remember they might be on the price list. This way you don't OVERPAY. The bidding can exceed the regular cost if you get 2 people in a bidding war with no idea. Some strains list for 35 others 115 and anywhere in between. So don't bid 40 on a 35 strain.

It is not hard to get packs for under twenty dollars if you are patient on the auctions. The only packs that usually exceed that are the super silver and black widow.

  1. Always buy from the original breeder (or the one who claims to be)
  2. Buy from a less expensive breeder who used original genetics.
To do what?

Those two options posted by the emo actually show nicely what the problem is. The cheapskates in this forum pretending to be able to review seeds, strains, or breeders simply have no clue what they are talking about and only care about themselves... Not about other growers, not about any breeders, not about the future of cannabis... but growing epeen and pretending to have any credibility in the matter.

Complaining cannabis was better in the old days and certain strains aren't really those strains anymore, yet at the same time support the people responsible for unnecessary (well, to fill pockets) breeding in and selling someone else's strains, or don't do the breeding in required to make real hybrids but steal strains and think that F2 is more stable than F1 and F3 is IBL

Nice job making rollitup an even bigger farce.

I don't know what your problem is, man. Can you please explain to me why i should buy a pack of some original strain if a strain from a different breeder is doing the same thing for 25% of the money? or with fems available?

I'm really not getting it. Do you have Sensi shares?

And why is a discussion which leads users to great results for less money a farce? I thought this is what it's all about, a forum in which users can discuss how to get to the best result with possibly the easiest and cheapest methods. I think that the majority of regular users here on RIU are here to learn and to share their ideas and methods and at the end of the day not everyone can afford a bag of seeds for 150 bucks. If there's a different opportunity to get the genetics for a fraction of the price why shouldn't i go for it?

Weed won't die out because i buy a bag of Dinafem seeds.
