Eso's pheno hunt

I cut clones from the tang pow and goji.

I ended up being able to get 2 cuts from my smaller orange pheno (tp#1) and I'm going to try to get 2 more a day or two after the switch. I'm most likely going to veg one of these clones for a while and try to maximize yield because from all the things I've read and seen of TP I've got a nice pheno, given she doesn't herm but I'm not worried it will.

The largest out of the four seedlings is a tang pow tp#3 and I'm super excited about this one too. It should be a yielder by the way it's growing like wildfire.

I'm also super excited to see what this goji (s1 or goji x random pollen from being outside) is going to do. It's leaves are definitely different looking, a little skinnier and purple veins. You can see the original goji mother on page 2 of this thread (not sure which one it was but all four are picture in many post all the way through flower) and all 4 goji had thicker fingered leaves and green veins, though the purple vein could be nutrient issue.

I put tang pow #1, #3, goji and grapes13 clones #2 and #3 into the flower tent tonight. I also will be hitting the girls in flower with grapes 13 pollen tomorrow.

I'm tired of a tent full of sad girls so it will be nice to see the healthy round of girls flower out. Get that shit back on point.

Pollen has been chucked. I hit the grapes 13 male to everything in the tent. Should find something good in them beans. I'm stoked because all the grapes have a good smell to them but one is absolutely fantastic. Grape juice goodness. I'm vegging her out big for next round.

Tang pow #1, #3 and gojis s1 are in flower and so for about 2 weeks.

tang pow #3, assume she is leaning towards something in agent orange since she is so big and vigorous, bad news I jut picked off 2 preballs, hope it's not a trend

Tang pow #1, blue power leaner, slow veg, large stems, not much side branch, great orange smell from stem rub, something special I'm hoping, thickest stalk out of the 3


goji s1, seems a lot like the goji mom plant but won't know till the frost comes on, mom was frosted the fudge out

I just threw 5 beans of peak seeds's c99 in a paper towel and I'm hoping to get at least 3 females but the numbers I've had lately I might get 4 or 5 females, lol.

I'll probably keep the c99 small and flower after I am able to get a clone from them. I'll be throwing my 2 grapes13 in flower april 1 leaving my keeper tang pow and goji clones vegging so I'll be able to squeeze in some small seedlings. I really want to find a pineapple pheno.

I probably won't keep a c99 male unless I find a special one because I plan on using my tang pow male for now. Do a orange line and that way I only have to keep up with one male for now. If the tang pow doesn't produce good offspring he'll go and I'll find a new male.

I was almost going to pop some cookies and chem but I had 20 beans of c99 so if I lose the 5 or they're shit no big loss.

4 of the 5 c99 popped and I threw the 5th in tupur anyway, I'm sure it'll pop too.

Well both of the tangerine powers are not exhibiting orange smells from the flower rub.

The smaller one does smell orange rind but sour and not as pleasant as I was hoping. It is still early but I'm not sure if I'll keep either one because I'm not digging the smell, it is way too close to my miyagi mix. A lime citrus kind of smell.

Resin is going to be great and the big one will yield well but I want orange not kind of orange, lol.

I still have 22 tang pow seeds left and I've got some tang pow pollen and will collect more in the following days.

I'm not getting a smell off the goji yet so that'll be later.

Out of the 5 c99 beans 1 didn't shed it's seed case and died and 1 has no new true leaves coming out and so I'm going to cull it so that I can pop some back ups.

I'm going with 1 fem louis og calicon and 2 cookies and chem regs gps.

Been slacking on updates, lol. The 2 tang pows & goji s1 are coming along nicely. The goji is definitely like the mom, looks like a clone sorta. The orange smelling smaller tang pow has started to develop an incredible sour orange starburst smell and I'm sure I'll be running this clone and one of my 2 grapes pretty steady. The bigger tang has more of a lime smell to her, she'll yield great but too sativa leaning for what I'm looking for. I'm on an indie kick for now.

I'll get flicks up of the 3 tomorrow.

The little c99 snapped out of her funk and all 4 are doing well, the 2 CnC are humming along but the louis viii hit a snag, lol. Not sure why but she got burnt and stunted and is finally coming around. I was gonna cull the L.og but I want a check it out.

Well the louie viii caught the axe, for whatever reason the seedling got burnt and never caught up so I let her go. Sucks because I was looking to forward to some nice og smoke since I didn't keep a clone of the goji.

The three seedlings in rear are 3 c99 and the 2 up front are cookies n chem. The biggest c99 was already showing male preflowers so I culled his ass too. I'm not gonna hold or use any more males for a bit and only use my tang pow male in the near future.

Off to the left side is my orange punch pheno of tang pow vegging out, I had to bend her over to get any side growth going. The I got clones of grapes 13 keepers, berry wine cut and tang pow#3 and male.

Here is a pic of my orange punch tang pow, frostiest plant in the tent and even with carbon filter and fan her wonderful scent is overpowering the tent. The smell is sour orange tropical punch but mostly orange. I'm hoping that the smell translates to flavor.



What's nice is the male and this one both had the same orange rindish smell from stem rubs even in early seedling form. I'm hoping the male passes on this smell/and hopefully taste. Either way I plan on running f2s from both this orange punch and my larger sativa leaning tang pow and the couple of crosses to see what the male passes on.

The tang pow beans are cooking now f2s and 3 crosses (grapes 13 frostiest runt pheno, my berry wine cut, goji og s1 with 2 more crosses coming in a couple weeks which will be grapes 13 grape soda pheno and grapes 13 indica dom pheno.

The girls are at 45 days 12/12 and they're looking nice and frosty, only the orange punch pheno of tang pow has any discernible smell, The goji has the same kushy earthy smell as the mom plant did but I think a little weaker.

Goji is turning purple on top calyxes. She is just as frosty as her mother and pretty even with the tang pow. She has been hit with the tang pow male as well.

Probably the frosty plant in the tent is the 88hp leaning grapes 13 runt non keeper clones I got completely full of tang pow seeds! This cross will be jamming with frost.

Tang pow #1, straight heaven to smell, sweet sour orange candy mixed with tropical punch juice, she isn't all that big but her smell over powers the tent no problem, if you brush up against her you'll be tropical punched, lol. I hope to sweeyt 8lbs 9 ounce baby Jesus that she taste like she smells, she'll be like bubba with a slow veg but worthwhile smoke. She is a close 2nd to the hashplant grapes for resin. Her clone run should be something special, plus I seeded her for f2s.


Tang pow #3, super great veg and flower production but a big no go in the smell department. It's a weird citrus chemical smell, sort of wd-40 smelling and I no likey. I'm hoping to find an orange smell/tasting version of this plant in her f2s which would be a winner. Yield will be above average with this girl.

Here is the clone of my tangerine power punch pheno. She's a slow veg and hates to be topped so I bent her over to encourage side growth. She would be over 12" tall but is bent to about 8" and I plan on vegging her until the end of april and the into flower.




I'm planning on finding four solid keepers to keep in steady rotation. So far it looks like her and the grape soda cut of grapes 13. I have the 3 c99 and 2 CnC seedlings that I'll flower with the tang pow starting May 1 so hopefully one of those will be worth keeping.

I plan on taking a trip down to see my bro and he's got a few nice clones I plan on grabbing: dark heart's grape ape, DH's gdp, purple kush clone, mimosa, wedding cake x gelato and some other nice clones too. I plan on crossing my favorite out of the gdp, purple kush and grape ape to work my own grape strain from the grapes 13 f2s and I plan on working the mimosa with the tang pow f2s.

Tang pow #3 is a big yielder, frosty and is a fast flowerer but smell is a bit hard to pin down sometimes pleasant lime/fruity pebbles but most of the time it's a lime/wd40 less pleasant smell. I had a clone of her but over the wkend I forgot to water it before I went out and she dried out and died so I'll have to pop some of her f2s.


Here is the pick of the crop, tang pow #1, she is slow in veg but not much slower than the goji and actually faster than my 2 cookies and chem. I'm crossing my fingers in hopes that this girl taste like she smells, which I'm betting she will. The smell is just to potent, I mean you can taste the orangieness just from the smell, lol.


Goji s1, definitely an s1 and not some random pollen, she is a chip off the old block for sure, nice chunky dense round buds, some purple on top, she will yield about same as tang pow #1, smell is a weed smell pretty plain kush type smell but still good. I like the good old standard non fruity bud here and there as well.

All those girls have been hit by a nice structured male with an orange smell stem rub so I'm hoping to find some nice phenos in the f2s and crosses.

I've chopped down tang pow #3, grapes 13 (88g13/hp leaner hit w/ tang pow male), and bw cut of miyagi (hit w/tang pow M) on Tuesday and I just chopped the goji today. Tang pow #1 needs at least another week.

I threw the tang pow #1 clone (vegged for almost 2 months she is big but still not all that big for her age) and the 3 c99 seedlings into the tent with the 2 keeper cuts of grapes 13 going. It is going to be a crowded house here real soon, lol, once tang pow #1 comes down the cookiesNchem will take her spot in the tent.

I've had a chance to puff both of the tangerine powers and the goji s1.

goji s1: this girl is definitely a s1 because she taste just like momma, this goji has such a great kush taste, I love it. A balanced hybrid buzz that gets you good and stoned both mentally and physically. (I plan on creating some goji f2, in the future and when I find another goji female from the reg beans I have she'll be s1'ed. Fucking chucking those bitches out to people so they can get some of this goodness, lol.)

The tropical orange punch pheno of tangerine power has an orange flavor that is not as sweet tropical punch tasting as the smell but a strong orange knock off candy or pastry? Hard to explain but a great smoke and very indica body stone, me likey. Perfect night capper day wrecker.

The sativa/bigger tang pow has a very slight orange flavor (like lemon water when #1 is lemonade) but mainly just a smooth smoke, also potent as fuck.

Again if you got a bad tang pow from reg seeds I'd say pop a few more, they are solid. No herm issues and both grow well. I kept #1 and have a large one in flower now at 2 weeks.

I also kept the male seeing as he had great structure and a citrus smell stem rub. I'm super stoked to try the TP x goji and the TP x Berrywine cut as testers on this here tang pow male. Also I'll make sure some of the tang pow f2s and crosses find their way into some fine hands, wink wink.

As a matter of fact as soon as I go through this bud and pick out the seeds, I'll pack some up and play summer santa.

Well I pulled the trigger and bought a new Mac mini tonight so I'll have that bitch Wednesday. Then I'll be able to post pictures again! And I can get this thread caught up.

The c99, CnC and tang pow clones are starting to so flowers.
