Cr8z13 how many seeds did you plant and did all the plants turn out identicall.Just as long as you understand that there is always the remote possibility that your package may be pinched by customs. The vast majority of the seed buyers here have no problems. I've had two successful orders myself.
Here was the breakdown for my pack of 10 MK:Cr8z13 how many seeds did you plant and did all the plants turn out identicall.
as i have problems with my 7 fems(planted 10 masterkush).
one plant died early(too weak)and 2 turned out male.
and now it looks like 2 are different from the other 5(growth wise).
is it possible they will require harvesting at different times as some are more developed than others???.
(its week 5 of 12/12)
THANKS.
CRIS.
thanks Cr8z13 thats good info but i cant clone this far in to 12/12 can i ???.Here was the breakdown for my pack of 10 MK:
Only 9 germed, 1 didn't survive transplant.
Of the 8 remaining, 2-3 grew about a foot taller than the 3 shortest. I definitely should have topped. I couldn't use Bushmaster because my hydro setup doesn't allow me to feed specific plants, only all at once.
About a month before harvest, one of my lines got kinked and 3 plants died. This was entirely my fault for not being diligent enough on that particular day. It only took missing 1-2 feedings to do them in.
Despite my mixed success, I'm fairly pleased with having purchased fem seeds, and I'm currently growing some fem Afghan Kush. Most of the problems I had with my last grow could have been avoided by a more experienced grower, which I now am.
Bottom line: if uniformity is your goal, clones are the only way to go. I'll probably go that route sometime next year once I can piece together a nice little veg box. My long-term goal is to have a setup that can sustain a perpetual harvest. No real need for that now, though, considering I just grow for personal use mostly.
EDIT: Regarding differing harvest times, that's entirely possible. Out of my 5 surviving plants, one of them matured about a week sooner than the rest. It has some nice orange hairs. The others did too, just not as much. I still haven't toked up the one plant yet. I'm expecting a heavier couchlock-like stone, which I actually prefer. I'm saving the best for last.
Too late for clones if you're well into flowering. This regenerating business is something I'd rather not bother with, as I've heard of mixed results. I say you veg a mother from new seed.thanks Cr8z13 thats good info but i cant clone this far in to 12/12 can i ???.
and what would you recommend for my 7 fems.
clone(one) now.
harvest all then regenerate.
harvest 5 and keep two mothers reverting them back to vegg.
any advice would be great.
THANKS.
LUDA..
what start new seeds and go from there taking cuttings before going 12/12 (waiting for preflowers 4-6 weeks vegg and bin the males???).Too late for clones if you're well into flowering. By the way, sorry for the threadjack, T O K E
