how dose this help my plants and how would i apply it?
tbs per gallon. helps with ph
I've never heard of epsom salt helping w/ PH
I use epsom salt to overcome any magnesium deficiency from using reverse osmosis water. I use 1/2 -1 tsp. per gallon.
dieselhound is right not ph,. magnesium deficiency. I've been using 2 tablespoons per gallon, only when you see the need too much is just as bad as not enough.
I had a mag deficiency with my plants and got advice here about epsom salts..One dose made them happy REAL quick!
I think it does throw the pH off a bit. but definitely really wack out th ethe ec/ppm.
thanks all, but when your leafs turn a little yellow that means theirs a mag deficiency right? and also should i only apply it a few times to counter the mag deficiency?
If it was that simple everyone would be growin this shit. Do yourself a favor and get some grow books and do a little reading. You can't rely on these forums to get yu thru a grow. You have to do it yourself so, why not attack it like anything else in life that you really want?
At the very least check out the "plant problems" threads. There are pictures of exactly what you are going thru. Good Luck.
Marijuana Garden Saver is a great book. Its all about probs. lots of pics. Growing is easy, fixing is the tricky part.
