Hey man don't take this the wrong way (personally), but if you were to pass me a bong and in the process told me that the herbs we were smoking were grown in soil amended with drywall, I'd pass it straight back. Napthalene Sulfonate sounds like some hydrocarbon derived from lighter fluid. I know I know, BHO is extracted with a similar hydrocarbon-based solvent, but I don't smoke BHO either. It's just my personal preference.. like choosing to grow organically; and I'd be pissed if I found out a company I pay for top-quality organic amendments used toxic chemicals to process my ferts.

I would agree as well. I am sure though, you and i have smoked weed that has been treated with much harsher chemicals and pesitcides....we just werent informed of it.
In a perfect senario you would be doing solar bong ripps, instead of that lighter full of butane!

Again......if you re-read my first post, i said only if there were no toxic compounds!!!!!!!!

But thats the whole point you are missing. Who is to say which drywall is safe and not? Who decides what is toxic and non-toxic?

Don't recommend something that you aren't sure of. If you cant tell us whats in it, that why are you recommending it to others?

And, by the way, my energy is just fine thanks!

I get 'certified organic' compost from our local recycle facility & they have a "medical mix" with added gypsum (ground sheetrock).
Best stuff I've ever used. I'll be getting some more in a week or two.
Works good for me.

P.S. I also water regularly with Epsom salts
I know this is an old thread but I just rescently switched to organics from bottles and am using Michigan made mix soil M3 but one of the strains in the bed is a cal mag eating bitch ( Pixie Dust ) from strayfox .. My question is regarding the Epsom salts can u put in a microbial tea ??? right now I just put buildabloom from buildasoil which has calcium and nitrogen and some phosphorus I added .7 of fish shit and a tablespoon of unsulfered molasses and was wanting to add some epsom salt for magnesium... I also added 1/4 cup of worm castings
