Epigenetics, Could it Effect The Future of Breeding?

(Trolls took over the old thread, so I decided to condense the info for everyone to see and consider)

My signature used to say, "If you didn't want to stress your plants, you would let them breed" WE ALL KNOW STRESS HELPS, THAT'S HOW WE GET GOOD BUD

I didn't have a word for it before now, but now that I do I can COMPLETELY prove that all of you were wrong, and I was right.

The study of epigenetics is proving that things like "Over Stress" and "Caloric Restriction" can not only make a plant or person stronger later in life, but it can make their CHILDREN more resistant to the factors (remember when I always told you guys it was for breeding, I knew I was right about this, I've read about it in Cacti and Phalaris grass for years)

STRESS YOUR PLANTS

This works in lower organisms (plants etc) and even MONKEYS.

These are 2 VERY old monkeys (27 yrs old) Monkey that was given less food than he wanted every day is on the right.

I know people re-cycle plants, that is WHY the strain Flo existsI know people use LST to stress plants, but they do it to have more colas
I know people clone, but they do it to get more clones
I know people FIM, but they do it to get more colas
I know people super crop, but they do it to get fatter yields

What I am pointing out, is that stress = better genetics short term (in the stressed plant) and long term (in the seeds that come from that plant if it breeds)

This plant is stressed. First it was FIMed.

Then when it was like 9 inches tall I was taking a clone and accidently gave it what I thought was a death blow, I basically cleaved the whole stalk in half, but not like the way a lumberjack chops a tree, more like stripping it from top to bottom like you see when lightning strikes a tree.

I literally thought I killed it. And I had to leave to Babysit my mom's dog for Christmas.

When I came back it was BIGGER than the other plant, and was actually using its lean to its advantage by STEALING light from the other plants side.

So I decided to cut the plant with a razor blade. I just sliced real gently and made lots of tiny cuts on all the limbs so as to super crop. And I accidentally sliced too hard on one limb, and had to duct tape it back up.

Then I FIMed again.

Then I turned it to flower, and that's where we are now. I'm about to post some pictures of the damage you can still see on the plant.

This is the one I thought was going to be a death blow

And this is the one I had to duct tape back up

Here is one of the medium sized colas on the stressed plant, not monsters or anything, I don't have too much room.

Also, UV/UVB light (lizard tank light) can help too.
And you can do what is called "Making it rain" if you don't water for 4-7 days, then water.

lmao... your plant has a good amount of dead leaves.. stop trying to prove your dumb stress idea

It just seems like you are trying to justify your lack of attention to detail and basic knowledge as an attempt to pretend you know how to grow better.

Lol @ the we all know stress helps THATS HOW WE GET GOOD BUD part!!
We get good bud by starting out with proven genetics. . This info is useless and u posted it twice thats strike 2456 better luck next time...

It is like a car crash, I see a thread started by Fin and I am like "don't look", "don't click it".

LMFAO

You are proving how wrong you are. I am talking about NEW genetic discoveries.

So if you want to talk about "proven genetics" you need to do some reading. :dunce:

So you think breeding with stressed out plants will produce better offspring?
