Enclosed ballast or not?

Will a 250 watt hps sunburst enclosed ballast grow light in my 2x2x5 tent cause too much heat? or do i need to get a digital ballast that stays outside the tent? I have a 4in inline canfan for exhaust and a 4 in squirrel cage blower for intake.
