Electricity Companies

Hi everyone, I am sams0n and I am elite!

Don't these electricity companies realize what happens when they sell out their best customers?
Their good customers go to jail (ok, quite an insignificant loss for elec. company), but it also serves as a great example for future grow house operations, steal electricity and you won't be red flagged.

stealing electric services puts everyone at risk, rather then going so big stay reasonable.

to say they will lose one customer is silly, for every one they will lose 5 more will be there next month or more.

Actually your higher usage puts strains on them.... They want you to use less......

i have yet to see a hid ballast get a energy star sticker

I refuse to "be reasonable" because I fear that my electricity supplier will sell me out.

Did you miss my part about losing a customer being "quite an insignificant loss for elec. company"? I totally agree that for each one lost, there are 100 more.

Anybody with basic knowledge of electricity can safely bypass a meter, I do not support it, I do not personally do it, and I do not know of anybody who is doing it. The only risk is getting busted by Mr.Metermaid.

Those companies have plenty of electricity for everyone times a few...it is transporting it from them to you that is costly and puts the strain on...that is the only reason you pay soooooo much and it costs so much to be independent from them...

Stealing power get's you busted. Pay the bills, slide under the radar, if you by-pass the meter you will get caught, if you are growing commercially use a welding and fabrication shop as cover,they never question elect. use from these places. I know people who did this and they never got busted at that location and were there for several years. They had a 2500sq.ft unit in a light industrial area, and had the front set up with a couple of MIG , Tig and stick welders.Did a bit of bike frame fab too. Worked well.
