your need to take down some lights not only will it reduce your power bill and reduce heat but then hopefully u wont need to run your a/c 24/7 aircons are the most expensice appliance in the household they chew thru money

Dude it sounds to me like it would just be cheaper and easier to buy weed then spend $1500 a month to grow 7 ozs. I am thinking you need to read up a bit. I am no miracle grower believe me and I get more than 7 zips from my 400 HPS.

I'll try to post some pix fellas. It doesn't look too extravagant. My strains are Jack Herer, Super Lemon Haze, LSD, white widow, blue widow, and lemon skunk. I grow hydro. I think I'll kill a few lights. Thanks again guys.

seems outragous to me. i have two 600watt lamps and one 400watt lamp and 4 flourescent going and clone machine and my bill is $200 fourteen to eighteen per room get almost an oz per plant i would check my setup each light should cost u about thirty dolars a month

Holy Shit Dude! I run 2400W in flower and 800W in veg along with another 200W in floros for cuttings and seedlings and my bill has never been over $500.00 and I live in a 3000+ sq ft home... Do you have a ventilation fan? 5 words... Air Cooled Hoods --- Can Fan

Your yield sucks ass for the amount of power you are using... WOW... I agree that you should drop all but one light and get your skilz up before you try to run with the big dogs.

Lol. I should've mentioned... my set up is in the garage. It's in a room built in the garage. I have three 1000 watt lights and two 600 watts running in the bloom room. I have the lights ducted. The co2 is ran with a fuzzy logic system. My plants keep turning yellow on the third week... I can't figure it out. The veg room has two 400 watts and a big ass fluorescent light system. I'm not too worried about the electricity bill as long as the authorities aren't involved. I can pay for it (although it does suck ass). But I wish I can make better weight out of the shit I have.

I never smoked in my entire life... lol. I'm growing it, because I always been fascinated with marijuana plants for as long as I can remember. Plus, the financial motivation. Lol. I will try out LED's eventually.

sweet cracker , even 4200 watts to flower plus ac ect seems high for 1500 bill but anyhow goodluck . i am too fascinated with plants /growing . motavated to the fullest here :)

In certain areas it will be that high, especially during the summer in a city with millions of people and high rise buildings.
The electric companies have hugs loads on their systems, and they charge a lot to deter people from using a lot.

Summer kWh rates, plus a usage fee that is actually more then the kWh price, and the more ya use the higher tier ya go with higher fees

Well thats how its done around this city...

Thats also one of the reasons top quality bud goes for $6k - 7k a pound (wholesale) in very large cities.

Someone who has aditionally a little math problem....

Your plants go up to 115°f ? and you complain about low yield ? Did you ever read how temperature friendly the plants are ever heared that the plants like 80 ? or so

Additionally that you freak you that your bill is so high..... i assume this is your 1st grow in this setup...
