Ebb & Flow Experts!! What should i do?!

Hey guys, starting an ebb & flow in 3x6 botanicare trays with 36 plants... plan on cloning 1-2 weeks then vegging 2 weeks (4 weeks from clone to flower) but i need a couple suggestion on what I should do…

1) I want to clone AND veg in an aerocloner, then flower in the f&d trays but I’m not sure how i can do this. what i want to do but I’m not sure if i can is root in the aerocloner (so i can root with speed) then somehow place the clone in rockrool for veg without stunting/hurting it… and once it was time for flower should i just place it in a 6” rock wool cube. is this possible/productive?

2) what medium do you think would be ideal for my setup if not rock wool??? I’m also thinking about using hydroton in net pots .. once the clone is rooted and ready for veg i can put the plant in a pot with hydroton and once once its time for flower i can put the netcup with the hydroton/plant in a bigger pot with more hydroton

so what you guys think? any help/feedback is hugely appreciated… also! was wondering what you guys would think is ideal for lights 1 1k gavita per table or 2 600w? THANK YOU!!!

This is what I did, I aerocloned and used root riot plugs.( aero cloning is faster) then I neoprene collared them with no medium. Then vegged 2 or 3 plants per bucket in DWC. Once they had roots 6 - 10 inches long, I transplanted into my ebb flow buckets that are filled with hydroton.

how long would it usually take for the roots to get 10in long? by that time were the big enough to take clones off of? so.... they had no medium throughout veg in the dwc then when it was time for flower, you just put them in the hydroton/e&f and straight into flower? were they in shock or did it slow growth because they had to adjust to the new medium and flower cycle?

I had 8" roots on my ez-cloner cuts, and I have a bunch of 6x6 RW cubes...what I did was leave the grodan wrapper on the cubes and I took a knife and cut a deep slit in the cube, widened the slot and folded the roots into the cubes and pressed the opening tight.

The flood timer is set to come on fro 15 minutes...4 times a day...as soon as I planted the cuts I hand water them a few times a day.

how old are the cuts usually when the roots are 8"

Started 9/23...planted in RW 10/6.
set in 4x4 table w/35 gallon res...GH 3 part ppm 300...moving up to 700ppm tomorrow....ph 6.0-6.5...600w MH
no doubt, any pics of the roots? and how many inches would you say they grew vertically? could you have taken clones off them if you wanted too?

It will take about a week for your roots to get that long. Also I topped all my clones, they were only about 4 inches tall. And I am running them 20/4 now and will start flowering tomorrow or Saturday. I am just waiting for where I topped to grow. They had no shock at all tho from transplanting or putting under the big lights. I'm no expert tho, this is my first time with ebb flow buckets. But it seems to work and I love how easy it is to use. I am flooding every 2 hours at 600 TDS, but will decrease that to every 3 or 4 hours during flowering.

The plant is not growing at all...only the roots grow at this point.
I have mother plants in soil...this is where the cuts are taken

I would run the rock wool croutons in a flood tray with your selected cloning method. I have yet to run a flood tray but that is my next endevure. Have to find a nice pheno this run then it's on.
