New to ebb and flow, heres what I have set up. Currently running 8inch pots (small painters' buckets), holes cut out the bottom. Hydroton. 3 15min water cycles a day. My main concerns are that the Top pebbles never seem to get wet and I'm worried that the moisture doesnt just wick up the pebbles as i expected it to. Also a main concern is to be able to move the plants around. Im open to hear any of your methods or suggestions.

I've tried the hand cut pots and it is more trouble than its worth..if you can grab net pots, then do that..unless you did a pretty good job on the cutting. Also, try getting a taller tray so that it's sides are almost even with the top of the pots; that way the water height will go further up

thanks for the post miller, dont mean to say your wrong, im using tables that i bought from botainicare for this purpose so i hope they are the right height (I hope at least cause i bought a few of them). I did purchase the 10 inch pots that have the bottom 1.5 inches or so as net pots (not in use yet), i also have 8 inch net pots but i suspect the roots will just die if they made it out the side of those.

More or less what im saying is the tables are their for good, i just need to make them work.
