Everyone in this section get's their panties in such an efficient wad.....
What about certifications?
Of the lights on the market these seem to be a legit option for those who want plug and play with actual safety certs and also large commercial licensed facilities where DIY ain't gonna cut it with local code enforcement.
Let's face it - Cannabis is going BIG BUSINESS with the exception of those growing their own :hump:

Big business grows in legal markets profit margins shrink and costs go up. Efficiency and cost become ever more important. Can You profit at 3 a gram? Well how about at a 1 a gram.

Certs are also important, but if the bottom line doesn't work game over.

Until the certified, plug-and-play retail fixtures cost as little as DIY does now, I don't see LED taking over the commercial sector. Even then it will probably be a slow sell. Then again, I really don't know what the fuck I'm talking about, so this is just a layman's speculation.

Very strange how desperate people get to prove a point. DIY LED works for diyers for a number of reasons.

Commercial grows are more about branding and gaining market share, making money.

Why would diyers care about safety certs?

Remo's been a shill for SK since the beginning , the spread is shit historically , minor changes imo...........no lm 80 rating given, rep just says "50,000hr lifespan", good luck on ROI.

ul/etl certs in the USA== still looking at cali fires for insurance claims on schedule 1 manufacturing ......crop insurance is not happening obviously , want to see if structure(s) will fly in the end? honestly have my doubts

Of course COBs, strips, or QBs would be better, but if someone were giving me sixteen SK602s for free, I sure as shit wouldn't turn then down. Yeah, Remo clearly has a relationship with Spectrum King, but that doesn't mean the lights are worthless. He's going to be using less energy than if he were still growing under HID, so it's a solid move. Besides, I like Remo. If he wants to shill a decent - but not amazing - light, it doesn't really bother me.
