What kind of nutes are you using and how many gallons is ur dwc? Need more info on your setup
canna hydro a/b 15ml
cannazym 25ml
ph 5.8
rvk 150
ruck 125
temps bout 75 -80
ec 6 and ppm 327
600w metal halide
buckets 14 litres water in 18 litres bucket ..water bout 1inch from bottom of net few roots ..dont seem to be growing taller or more roots ...bit confused
6 inch air stone
18/6 lights cycle

Doesn't have to be burnt from the light.. The temps could have gotten really hot at some point in time and cooked it..maybe ventilation went off.. Maybe new growth is bouncing back but still has deficiencys.. We need a picture of the roots

really..not trying to argue, but heat rises..if the bottom got burnt cause of heat, and looked like that..the top would be smoked allready..
i say its root problems also..whats the average res temps?

The roots need to be checked, when having issues in DWC the roots need to be the first concern..

I had same looking plant when my PH meter was way to scrambled, uncalibrated alot...
I thought my Ph was 5.6 but in reality was 4.1 and lower... after this i do regular calibration 1x month.
Or maybe overdose of enzymes... <-- this can literally eat your roots... i killed 1 of my plants 3 rounds ahead with cannazyme... i put double dose of cannazyme by mistake and next morning my plant was dead...roots was melted...

That is def a heat issue. If your humidity level is to low the leaves will dry and curl alot quicker as well. try keeping your temp down and spray the plants with just filtered water once or twice a day. Also watch your ppms, one of the biggest problem in hydro is overfeeding because the plants are given everything they need in a self contained environment, therefore minimal nutrients are needed to reach peak growth potential. Very very rarly do you see a underfed plant in dwc.

In smaller grow places wind burn can also be a factor. if you have any fans in the room close to the plants or blowing directly on it for extended periods of time. But for sure raise humidity levels until flowers and keep room temp down down down.
