Dwc/water help?

The first week in my recirculating dwc I didn't add any nutes to the water cause I wanted to wait for roots to drop first. It's almost a week and roots are starting to fall. So when I start adding my nutes in the second week do I have to change all my water? Or because there was no nutes in it I can use it for the second week too?

Its best to be safe then sorry ! I would change it , you should change your water every week or so . Also , when the roots stick out the net pot you want the solution level about 1.5 inches below the net pot . And get a tds meter because your plant(s) can drink more water then nutes or vice versa . Keep your resovoir as clean as possible . Good luck on your beautiful journey !

I agree with fatty, change it once a week. In a DWC, preventing headaches is much easier than curing them.

Thanks guys. I think I'm gonna take your guys advice and change the water. Better safe than sorry. Oh yeah I do got a tds meter and a ph meter already. I think I would be pretty stupid if I didn't. Thanks again for your advice
