I'm about to disinfect my plants cuz of slime. The doses on the physan 20 bottle range from 1 tsp per gal to 2T per gal. I've also heard to just use a tiny bit of this stuff so I'm confused. Also how long should I drench the roots for this to be effective? Thanks in advance

Its really up to you depending on your roots. You want to rinse them good and get all the slime so I would do it for an hour through the system at 1 tsp per gallon. Some people do more some poeple do less. You really need to be looking at the cause and get a prevention method going. Look at the sticky on how to make tea.

The likely cause is nute temp is too warm. Often the case when the pump is inside the root chamber. Solution go to an outboard pump with a drain back. This also simplifies cleaning and changing nutes. If need be you can ut frozen jugs of ice into the rez to cool the tmep to ~ 65-70*s

If possible use a light spray as from a shower wand to remove the slime. This works much faster than running Physan. Then spray or soak the roots in 3% H202 to disinfect.

Also check pH and ppms. During flower they will significantly increase within 12 hours, creating an unhealthy environment.

After doing these things, I never have slime anymore

The answer is 1ml per 10
Gallons.... I use 1.5 tsp per 60 gallons. I'm gonna run it for 24 hours then clean the system again. I'm gonna give bennies another shot afterwards but it hasn't been doing what I expect of it. Peeps arête commending using 1 cup per gal every 2 days with the tea. Gonna try that
