DWC Root Slime Cure aka How to Breed Beneficial Microbes

I was not trying for a scrog at all; the net is there to hold the plant upright. Without it, the net pot would just tip out of the lid of the reservoir.

On my next grow, I'm going to switch to "lid style" net pots made for 5-gallon cans. The extra wide lid will give the plant more stability but I'll still have to use a trellis net.
You have a scrog net set up, top 2 or 3 times for four to eight colas and utilize the net for bigger yields and for support also. You could be pulling more weight with just a few weeks of training in budding during the stretch. Then you let the colas grow up after 3 weeks and the bottoms get better light. You can also defoliate fan leaves and lower branches that don't get any light right before you switch to flower, then switch to flower, repeat process again 3 weeks into flower, process is called shwazzing. Some people have pulled 3 lbs per grow light when using these methods. http://www.growweedeasy.com/schwazzing-cannabis

Yes, everything I've read also agrees that Myco is useless in your reservoir, but the ZHO contains Trichoderma which has been shown to do a world of good. Mycogrow and great white also contain a bunch of bacteria that is useful, even if the mycorrhizae is not.
Not sure where you got your information from but please share your sources. I have sources here that show an increase in final harvest and nothing but benefits in hydroponics

Much didnt happen in veg but tomato yields were higher

I design my dwc to drain from under the platform so changing the water is easier. Or I can hook up a drain hose to the pump and drain that way. The only problem I run into is the roots find there way into the PVC that connects one tub to the next.to fix that problem, party cups over PVC pipes with holes cut into the cups. Suction will keep cups in place
