DWC: Organics Vs. Synthetics

I would like to open a dialogue about the pros and cons of both Organics nutrients and Synthetic chemo nutes, when using Bubbleponics.

I have been reading how organic nutes in hydro systems and Bubbleponic systems can cause problems with roots, slime build up, and can create dissolving issues.While synthetic chemical nutes are cheap, they are harmful to your body and sometimes taste less yummy. I am getting to the point shortly.

I just purchased a few different organic nutrients for my two SH bubbleponics tubs. Advanced Nutrients Iguana, Grow and Bloom, Botanicare Cal-Mag, General Organics Bio Root and Bio Bud. It wasn't cheap. Should i try this approach with organic nutes, or listen to the gripes of others in threads?

try them out why not. the best way to learn is for yourself know what i mean. but i have heard the same thing about organic root supplements they make them brown up and rot. i also would like to us more organic but make it myself u know why buy it when u could got out and make it. and i have been chewing Copenhagen for 15 years and my taste buds are off a bit so i can not tell the diff between the two.

Well, you could always make your own tea, especially in DWC where you don't have to worry about shit clogging. It can also be as good/bad, cheap/expensive as you want make it. So, I guess that's a plus on the organics.

People who hate on organics do so for a couple of repeating reasons.

1. Its too hard! (Should I call the Whaaaambulance?)
2. There isnt a taste difference. (More Ketchup please!)
3. The yield isnt as much. (Cause ize gots to be bling blinging yo!)

You see the basis of their arguments. now use your brain.

GH makes some nice organic products. I'd recommend their FloraBlend compost tea, floralicious Bloom and Floralicious plus. You'll need a solid base nute system and I can't help you there.

I would suggest going with the entire line of products that are engineered to work together rather than trying to save a few bucks here or there. We use the entire GO line with local brewed fulvic acid instead of the diamond black, I read several places, that is the culprit for the clogged systems. We run an ebb and flow with air pumps, no stones. Runs like a dream, plants, buds and leaves are perfect. No BS, no pH no EC no flush needed. Au naturale

I use GH flora nova and its organic my roots were a little brown in the beginning then I added another air pump and they are pretty white now. I have 75 watts of air pumps with 12 air stones in 4 18 gal tubs. Thats 18.75 watts per 18 gallons of water with 3 12" air stones in each tub. No need for peroxide it only worked for me short term and its not good for your nutes (breaks down chemical bonds) more air + no root light = good growth good luck
