DWC NUTRIENT RECIPES FOR HEALTHY FLOWERING

Ahh, I was hoping for a hug.... Anywho, still apologize about that! And would Liquid Gold be good to add to my soup to enhance my flowering, or is it not very compatible with AN base nutes?
It is a foliar only.

AN does carry something like it but I don't know the name. I do know I called the makers of liquid gold and talked for like an hour. They were very very knowledgable (it was not some 20 something stoner on the phone). I remarked that their stuff is the shit but you never hear about it. He said they were the first to come out with a fulvvic foliar and that AN put one out a year later. They bought a bottle and took it to the lab. It was 700%, yes 7x weaker than their formula and was still almost double the cost.

For those in the know, AN is actually a sickening predatory company. They talk about all this quality control and high quality ingredients and its complete bullshit. One of the reasons they get into so much fucking labeling trouble is that the ingredients don't match the label!!

Who really gives a fuck anyways, a fool and his money are easily parted but damn...you think some people would learn.

I inquired AN customer support as to if their base nutes had all 16 elements necessary for plant growth and health, because their labels only listed around-and-about 8-10 of these elements, the guy said "Oh we only put the minimally required ingredients on the label, it contains all 16 elements yada yada yada yada". This royally pissed me off, because growers like myself want to know exactly and exactly how much of what is going into your precious babies. That's truly the only problem I have with AN. I can tolerate their prices and I achieve good results or else I wouldn't give them the time of day.

I used to have this problem as well and then I realized less is more. When you start adding all these additives from different companies you can really mess with npk ratios and start locking out other nutes. My neighbors use heavy 16 and canna and they are seeing great results. I personally use cyco, I love how they have an app to calculate how much nutes to use if you aren't using the full line. Only additive I use outside of their line is roots excelurator. Be careful with molasses as it can make your res kind of nasty, and some are so loaded with potassium and magnesium that if you use it during flush it will affect the taste bud could make your buds pop when you smoke them. Remember, less can be more :)

Thanks for the tip Medicationist, I'ma newb so right now I'm a sponge and people such as yourself are giving me things to soak up haha. With this being my first grow all I am using is A+B and Big Bud and Calmag, and I could cut the BB out, I only started using it to even out the NPK ratio as the CalMag has a NPK of 2-0-0 and Big Bud is 0-1-3, this is literally the only reason I am applying Big Bud. Do you agree that that is a good decision, or am I making a mistake adding either of the additives? I never would have started adding CalMag had I not got a nasty Cal-Mag deficiency....

Yeah. The FIRE looks great on paper and all but...net effect? Let's just say we were not running to grab a fire extinguisher.

Give them a try at least I mean it's only a couple hundred bucks tops.

We have 18 plants and 18 lights in that room. Checkerboard vertical with cages. I know it seems like "oh, one bulbs per plant but the plants in the edges has 3 bulbs shining in them and the plants in the center of the room have four bulbs per plant
Awesome, I'll make sure to try them out when I can. I think at the moment it's more urgent I buy a quality ph/ppm meter. I've been having issues lately, leaning towards the blue lab combo meter. Oh & safe to assume you don't run a sterile res correct? Since you run biowar & all. No issues with root rot?

I tried for over a year to run a sterile Rez, h2o2 (which is complete bullshit BTW), bleach, zone, physian 20, name it.

Started using teas, plants were never happier and I never looked back.

AN nutrients are great...if you enjoy getting ass fucked by a huge corporation.

News flash "ph perfect" is bullshit and not neccessary.

Dynagrow is ok but we found terpene production severely lacking. Like a LOT
I agree completely about Advanced Nutrients products. I've settled on Botanicare. Maybe I could get better results with experimentation, but I'm happy with what I have. I can't afford to have even one plant go bad because I messed with another line of nutes.

Before we switched to heavy 16 we were running DM. The heavy is a really nice formulation with different forms of nitrogen and phos for better uptake.

We have it pretty much dialed now.

Heavy 16 A and B
Weekly beneficial tea made with OG biowar
Silica from grotek (cheap and silica is silica)
Weekly Foliar of sea green kelp
3x week foliar of rambridge liquid gold during first 6 of flower

The liquid gold is a fulvic acid that increase nute uptake and I'll tell you quite frankly it's the mother fucking BOMB.

We ran "boosters" of all different varieties but after much debating with my partner we ditched them for a run..yielded 2lb per 1k ..our best run and on 10 month old HPS. So there is that.
Thank you , I will have to keep H16 in mind .
Is or will Floralicious plus work the same as foliar fulvics and do you spray in flower , with lights on ?

I don't know what is in florolicious. The best fulvic we have found is liquid gold and the stuff is SICK!!

Spray lights on, no need to worry about top or bottom of the leaves. I debunked the whole "it's absorbed by the stomata" myth a couple months ago. Absorbtion of foliar sprays are transdermal

I have been growing in an RDWC for years. I have used Botanicare first. Decided to go to AN from there and was less than impressed. I then did the DM base nutes and stuck with that for years. I guess recently Sunlight Supply stopped carrying DM products and the guy at the grow store recommended H16. Worst decision ever. I got slimed worse than I had ever gotten slimed before. It had nothing to do with light leaks, lack of oxygen in the water, room temps, or a change in other additives. The ONLY thing I changed was my base nutes from DM to H16 and I was SLIMED. I can post a picture of my air stone if you really want. I even posted about it not too long ago in another thread. That was my experience with H16 in a RDWC. I use H&G now and I couldn't be happier.

Id love to see the picture. This is the first bad review of H16 that Ive heard. I cant stand my Dutchmaster or my Hydroguard. Something is causing my leafs to have bubbles on them almost? :wall: Dyna Gro here we go :?

Been using H16 in RDWC on two different 18k watt rooms and not a lick of slime.

Slime isn't going to come from your nutes, it's going to come from your rez management. We use teas, no slime, ever.

I went with H16 and couldn't be happier. I still need to try your recipe; I'm using the full line up right now.
Off topic; but why did you do individual res vs rdwc?

^ Back on topic: grown with H16 base nutes only.

I am doing dwc... Or rdwc... lots of buckets and a central rez. It's a super duper top secret special technique.

It mixes once an hour but not continously.
