Gday guys ... I've been struggling to keep my plants in perfect health for a long time... Just wondering what those who grow healthy plants swear by?

Sent from my GT-S7580L using Rollitup mobile app

Lucas Formula 8/16 in flowering, 10/20 in late flowering. Then a bud booster and maybe some Blackstrap molasses in late flowering. But you cant go wrong with Lucas.

Definitely agree,

Haven't done hydro in a while but I followed the lucas formula to a T when I did. Lush dark leaves throughout its life. I also added dutch master silica and Kelp extract too tho.

Good balanced nutes from start to finish. My best crop ever was achieved with none of the boosters or any of that shit.

Always err on the side of under feeding, never over feeding.

Ran GH, Dutch master, botanicare, and have finally found my one and only nute brand... Heavy 16.

Beautiful results, large, dense, dank

I've heard lots of good things about the Flora Trio, Floranova, Dynagrow/Bloom, House and Garden (believe it or not, haha), and the Canna nutrient line. As for myself, it's only my 2nd go at DWC and have been using Sensi A+B Grow/Bloom (pH perfect version) with good results. But not having much experience with other nute lines, I can't say if it's better than any of the others.

AN nutrients are great...if you enjoy getting ass fucked by a huge corporation.

News flash "ph perfect" is bullshit and not neccessary.

Dynagrow is ok but we found terpene production severely lacking. Like a LOT

Heard a lot about that too. ^^
Could that be used in addition to my base nutes or?...

I didn't need someone to tell us were paying a lot more for our nutes than we could be, it just so happens we already bought these nutes and their working well for us. So, thanks but no thanks for that. And pH perfect works for some people, but it isn't the reason we use it, so "newsflash", most of us already know this.
*EDIT* I realized I sound like an asshole in that post, so I'd like to apologize Legallyflying, were just people with two different opinions, sorry bud! :bigjoint:

What were you using previously? & any additional details on Heavy 16 would be appreciated. Considering possibly trying it out.

I've heard A LOT of good things about Heavy 16...may try them next time, matter-a-fact.
then being slightly rude to legallyflying just shot yourself in the foot cuz he's a high end commercial grower that uses it and could have helped u

Before we switched to heavy 16 we were running DM. The heavy is a really nice formulation with different forms of nitrogen and phos for better uptake.

We have it pretty much dialed now.

Heavy 16 A and B
Weekly beneficial tea made with OG biowar
Silica from grotek (cheap and silica is silica)
Weekly Foliar of sea green kelp
3x week foliar of rambridge liquid gold during first 6 of flower

The liquid gold is a fulvic acid that increase nute uptake and I'll tell you quite frankly it's the mother fucking BOMB.

We ran "boosters" of all different varieties but after much debating with my partner we ditched them for a run..yielded 2lb per 1k ..our best run and on 10 month old HPS. So there is that.

And I'm pretty hard to offend BTW. It's ROI after all...and I'm not exactly the most warm and fuzzy poster ever.

I pass info along and people can do with it what they want. but the liquid gold..I'm telling you that ahit is awesome

Ahh, I was hoping for a hug.... Anywho, still apologize about that! And would Liquid Gold be good to add to my soup to enhance my flowering, or is it not very compatible with AN base nutes?

Much obliged. Really appreciate the help there, I'll make sure to look into these. I'm still on the fence about trying Heavy 16, but I'm pretty sure I'll cave.
So you aren't using any of the Heavy 16 additives then? I've heard good things about their additives, but if they can be circumvented its probably for the best. That "fire" carries a price tag to match the name.
How many plants/light if you don't mind me asking.

Yeah. The FIRE looks great on paper and all but...net effect? Let's just say we were not running to grab a fire extinguisher.

Give them a try at least I mean it's only a couple hundred bucks tops.

We have 18 plants and 18 lights in that room. Checkerboard vertical with cages. I know it seems like "oh, one bulbs per plant but the plants in the edges has 3 bulbs shining in them and the plants in the center of the room have four bulbs per plant
