  • Hi!

Ok... I'm new to DWC. I went out and purchased a 60 watt air pump and the double 6" boss hog airstones... so I'm pretty certain my issues aren't due to a lack of bubbles. The plants growing in my soil mix are blowing the DWC girls out of the water... WTF? I did start from seed... 3x mr nice g13 and 3xreserve confidential cheese. I know I'm doing something wrong... I doubt that the soil pots got lucky with great plants and the DWC buckets got hit with bad seeds... besides, as you'll see in the pic... my DWC girls are a little droopy. Here is some more info...

water temp and PPM and PH are as follows. 68-72 Fahrenheit, 240 ppm (GH floragrow, florabloom and floramicro), and 5.9 to 6.2 ph.

The room temps are at 76 Fahrenheit (30-40 humidity) under a 400W MH bulb with another 460 watt HPS to the side... just to provide added heat with a bit of indirect light. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The room is well ventilated.. 300 and some CFM fan pumping basement air into the room... door flap is left open (not quite finished the room), also a mid-sized oscillating fan on the plants.

the problem is... the two at the back are in soil... my DWC plants seem to be growing at a very slow rate.

wiibm ask if the roots have broken the bottom of the net pot , I never did understand how that part worked, I always have water pumps and sprayers directed right at the pot.

Im a noob but agree with DB. Im doing dwc and issues just last week. My ppm wS at 240 and i wS told to bump up to 800. I had a high ph to at 6.7. I adjusted to 5.6 n let it creep up till 5.9 6.0 tjen adjust down. I did n they look great. I also keep.water a little higher than bottom of net pot. hope this helps. Happy growing !!

I set ph at 5.8 and let it drift up to 6.1 tops but mine stays pretty stable being there's 55 gallons.

yeah if it drifts up I'd set it a little low too , mines steady as can be though. I like it, this is finally turning into not so much work.
