dwc newbie looking for advice

You guys are very helpful here's what I do for keeping my water temperatures down it might help you or someone else save some money on a water chiller it works great one of the first problems I Concord with dwc after root rot. It's a Thermal electric DIY Peltier Cooling cost about 40 dollars per 5 gallon bucket 60 bucks per 20 gallon tub. Will take temperatures from 75 down to 48 in under nine hours so it's best to chill the water first. It's the only good advice I have to give you guys after giving me so much

you bet....are ur roots getting enough oxygen? im runnin 138 gph, with two airstones, also using hydroguard and my temps get up to 75 and no rot at alll.
I'm using a double Outlet Elemental air pump going to one 4 inch round Air Stone per 5 gal bucket. 4 large soda pop air Stones inside my 20 gallon tub with 10 gallons of water.

coco is a whole nother can of worms, if i woke up in your shoes id use the base nutrients you have mixed with tap water, give the kb and calmag to a buddy, and stop checking ppm and ph, the nutes you have do not require it, and may go wonky if you start adding ph up and down and cal from this brand and silica from that brand.

Look around the forums, half the hydro problems here start with a list of a half dozen products from three different companies all mixed into one, the op usually wondering what went wrong and picking one product to blame for the entire fail.

So I do not need Bud boosters when using Advanced Nutrients or Cal Mag? I eventually plan on switching to cultured solution lineup

for bud boosting use big bud powder or liquid, Cal mag if you use RO water, but use the advanced nutrients version of cal mag.

IMG_0778.JPG IMG_0779.JPG day 17 of flower, let me know what u think. looks like the advice i recieved from yall is paying off
big plant is from a variety pack i got from supreme seeds. the little one (first pic) is la cheese from aupreme seeds

i think ur ok using ph down, just dont use ph up ever after using down. im surprised that ur rez is at 440-500 ppm, im at 1100 with no nute burn.
I have another plant in a 10 gallon Coco smart pot it's doing perfect about 700 PPM week 7 flower. I was trying to follow hygrohybrid in the way he grows dwc he says he never goes over 500 or 400 ppm in veg or 600 or 750 ppm in flower

Before my dwc grow went deficient I was about 550 600 PPM at week 5

problem is that each strain is different, you cant follow anyones feeding schedule. read the first page of this thread.
Trust me I learned that my very first grow I've flowered a strain that never went over 400 but I have also used every brand of nutrients almost .this time I'm going to stick with one nutrient line up and that's cultured Solutions I should have the package in the mail today

No I'm a complete rookie I just have an outstanding memory LOL.
It's like I was getting better results when I very first started then I started to add different nutrients and it all went downhill.
I just got home and checked my reservoir it seems like it's stable now the pH is 6.1 starting from 5.8 in the ppm's are Still 180.

Optimum temps should be around 66-68, this is were oxygen and root growth is at max. You can hook up a cheap thermostat to those peltier coolers from amazon to regulate your water temps. Very simple to hook up, comes with a temp probe that you just stick in the reservoir. Set it and forget it. Found this from another user on here been working great ever since.
