Ive read many threads now with some varation on opinions on when to add the tea into the system. Id like some thoughts on the following please.

1. How often to add tea into a heathy running system and how much?

2. how often to add tea to a system with possible signs of rot and how much?

3. How often to add tea to a system suffering from root rot?

Use @2 cups a gallon in dwc every 2_3 days..you can use full strength,is no worries, but brewing that much is a chore,I know, cause I use mine full strength:-)
If you've got rot-full strength for a week,
Maintenance-2c a gallon every few days..
Use all the time, not just when you may have a problem...
Hope this helps..good luck!

Hi rory,

How much molasses do you we with your tea and what temps do you brew the tea.

I only ask as I brewed tea on e with 1tbspn of molasses to 1 gallon and the room was cold and the tea brewed at about 60oF and I got slimed.

That heisenburg thread is a good read and contains all the info you're asking for

Once you understand how the tea works all your questions about it will be answered...

No shortcuts in growing man

Good luck

Its @70_72 outside my tent, that's where my buckets set..I take a jar with bubbled water, fill it half way,add a good dallop of molasses (unsulfured) I dont measure,I'd guess a quarter cup, shake till dissolved, add my myco, then shake again, dump in the bucket with the ewc sock, bubble for 2 days..if you don't have a foamy bucket, its not right..the point is to get the microbes to populate to an immense number, eat all the food, and right about the time they run out of food you introduce them to your garden, which has shittons of food (bad microbes) and they perform mass homicide due to being hungry...microbe zombie nation :-)

Hey man,

Thanks for the reply and life like style of explanation.

I brewed tea before and got slimed, I had a small hole leaking light into the bucket where i use to run my air pipe. It was only x2 4mm holes but must have been enough light to cause issues.

When i brewed the tea before i had foam, but the room was cold and i feel that the 48hrs wasnt enough due to the cold room temps. I have got a heater now tho and will use that :D
