DWC Harvest Flush......??

Hello, I've tried searching with no luck so I thought I'd ask.....

I've completed several DWC grows in the past but wanted others opinions on the matter......In the past, nearing harvest, I would pull the net-pots from one of my two main DWC setups and place each plant into a 5 gallon res of ph'd water for about a week to flush........

Is others opinon, is this long enough for a thurough flushing? The smoke has never been very harsh but I was curious if I should flush longer/shorter?

i week plenty i flush for 2 weeks just cause i use lots of fert.....

1 week should be safe. just pay careful attention to the flavor of your smoke, does it still have that earthy nute flavor? also there are a couple flushing products you might want to pick up if you still want a cleaner smoke, or if you arent sure. 2-3 days in one of those should be more than enough

oh yeah.. if you want a SUPER clean smoke you can water cure. only thing you need is a 40$ dehydrator and a cooler from your closet. you end up losing 20-30% of the weight but ive tried it and i can say first hand you dont lose any THC . so you get .7 bags that are equally potent to a full 1g. plus you dont need to flush so thats 1 more week of peak thc production .

basically just finish your flower cycle all the way to harvest without flushing in pure water (dont worry) then weigh your buds down in a cooler of water (yes get them soaking wet, but be careful so no thc breaks off). just use a screen or something, i used a large cooking strainer thing, and make sure the buds are completely under water. carefully drain and refill the cooler once a day for a week, so the buds dont shake around when the cooler is empty.

after a week, place the buds in the dehydrator, depending on the intensity it will probably be 1-6 hours. check them yourself so you dont toast any, but make sure you get all the moisture out before removing a bud so it doesnt mold.

PS: with water curing, the weight lost is ALL of the taste/smell from plant stuff

so your buds will lose their original flavor if its something special
