Alright. So we decided to start an actual club for all the DWC (DEEP WATER CULTURE) growers on this site. After much thought and anticipation. We would like to extend an open invitation to all the DEEP WATER CULTURE growers here to come and share ur grows.
DWC Club is an equal oppurtunity grower Community. And does not discriminate against race or gender. Color and creed are kinda the same thing.
Many ideas of this club were founded on the original secret society ideas of FIGHT CLUB.The movie.
LIke fight club. The excitement of growing DWC growers share kinda makes ya want to sock ur self in the face.
And should be able to be vented somewhere in secret which is the first rule of DWC Club.

Never speak of ur DWC grow with anyone in real life. This thread was created for solely this reason. It's very easy to get overwhelmed with excitedness growing this style. Just know this club is always here and that sharing this excitement with anyone in real life is wrong and a wrong directed to ur fellow club members.

Which brings me to the second rule. DWC = Deep Water Culture. Point being. Our plants roots live and grow submerged in water. There are no other needs for any extra attachements and gadgets such as aero and drip. Every true secret DWC grower knows they can manipulate these systems to mimmick all the styles inside there reservoirs. Which brings me to the second rule of DWC club.
Drip rarely only tastes good when its leaving the sinus cavity.
Rarely does it do any good in our systems. There are other threads dedicated to this. Find one. U may share ur grows with the DWC growers but not become a member. U will be left on the porch like the fat dude with the tig bitties.
I can only think of 2 rules right now. BWAHAHA lmao.

Without futher adue. DWC GROW CLUB!

Bwahahahaha Thanks leggo dude. Well heres mine currently dont have nothing nice to show really except a couple bottle full o bud curing for couple more weeks.
A couple moms to keep cutting and exploiting.
And a tub full o clones developing root structure to begin flower mode.
I chopped my N.L X Haze down to possibly make hash in a few weeks.
    One poison mom flowering..

So far this is my fourth week of flowering and it seems to be going a bit slow but good. I know its bag seed I am growing but it came from a strain at one point. Hopefully everyone on here will help identify the strain.

Also I had a question about that, If you are growing bag seed and are taking care of it properly, will it grow to its full potential? or can I expect the same kind of smoke?
You see if the bag weed is compressed and mistreated during growth, I know the smoke will get you high but still not as high as if it were taken care of. Am I unlocking its true strain potential? and this will be my first DWC soooo will this be the best smoke i have smoked seeing as all i have really smoked is stuff from dealers and friends.

Here are a couple of pics for all you onlookers. ENJOY!

Ur plants really look good pirate not much stretch on the nodes especially during flower. U prolly got some type of late flowering Haze cross strain there.

i'M HAVING A PROBLEM. this is second set of seedlings to get week stemed and limp. I can't seem to get right and i resemble that remark. i was using the led light for germination and tried to carry it in to vegging. maybe it was the fact i didnt have any cfl's or mh's or hps lights in addition? I now have an old chandelier that has 3 2700k cfl's in it in addition to the led. is it necessary to have both the 2700 and 6500 k cfl's at same time?

Im not too sure on leds but for veg I used 6500k's and flowering it was the HPS with the 2700k's. You need a different light spectrum for veg and flower stages.

Bro heres the best i can say read the following post ive pimped many X due to the fact ive been to lazy to keep typing it...
I dont think it has a whole lot to do with lumens/sq.ft. myself...

I think what I should really be worried about is:
Total Watts/sq.ft.X Total spectrum/lumens of light source @ plants different life stages of growth..

    And the Spectrumxlumens/sq.ftXlight source...

With that being said, Yes plants do use all light spectrums to grow obviously. With enuff light of any type i suppose u could grow a plant to smoke. But thru out a plants life span It grows and matures during the seasons of its environment. Whether next to the equator or not it all comes down to light being bent by the distance of the earth from the the sun that creates spectrums when it enters our atmosphere and distance from the sun also creates these seasons naturally.
Its been scientificaly proven that plants use mostly blue light spectrum (actinic ) to be exact, found in alot of m/h bulbs during early stages of life also found during seasons of spring and summer and fall. This spectrum is also found in hps and that cfl only tries to mimmick but works great if ur doing a stealth grow.
Its also been proven that during a plants latter stages of life adolescence, puberty and maturation. That a plant uses more Red light spectrum to mature and reproduce Which happens during fall and winter when the distance of the sun from the earth is greater.

Hope this helps peeps out making decissions when building a grow.

Stealth growers should be concerned with this as well:

Growth Production and Light emittence= Quality and Quantity+time
Time=money Devided by light eficiency and quantitiy.

Blue spectrum ( cfls m/h )= growth for veg
Red ( hps ) spectrum= Reproduction and maturation x quantity for flower

    PEACE

so it is definate that 6500 k is a must for vegging? as for the led i see that they are great for germination and for vegging. only i got a small panel off ebay and it isn't enough to veg like the ufo. how ever i will always have it on the side walls of my grow room. There has to be some thing to all this red and blue spectrum. any how my germination is up to 100% but that is all i can do. i have continuely failed to produce a plant or second set of leaves. I guess keep them germinaqting and smoking the sprouts huh?:dunce:
