DWC brown roots, don't know why?

So I have a 6-pot 22 gallon reservoir with 6'' net pots. Only two plants are in the system right now, but the biggest one has a large root ball but they are slightly brown, is this a problem? I just want to try to head it off if it is. The temperature of the reservoir fluctuates from 75-68 and I am using H2O2 in the reservoir water as well...

Thanks for any help!

Are you using any nutes?any light leaks into the res?It could be a problem if its root rot but it could just be nut solution.

Well its floramicro and florabloom, the micro is dark purple so I guess it could be that. The water seems semi-cloudy and that kinda has me worried... I think I need my temps lower?

Water temps must remain 62f-68f
Dissolved oxygen must be at max (1wt air pump per gallon, smallest bubbles possible)
Water must have complete darkness
No organic material in the res, period

Deviate from this and you are strongly inviting root disease.

So I will work on lowering the reservoir temp (dunno how in the world I will flower under a 600w hps if it's too warm now) and I have about 20 gallons of water, with 25 watts of power. about 700 GPH.

Assuming you are using all chemical nutes, you have the option of runnning a sterilizing agent in the water which will effectively help you tolerate slightly higher temperature. Sm-90 and Dutch Master Zone are two popular products.

if your nutes are dark then your roots are dark, get it.75f is getting a little too hot. throw some ice bottles in there or get a chiller.

You adding the h2o2 every 3 days? I would use the dutch master zone also if you can get it. I had to deal with root rot @ 66-68f and no light leaks.
