I run perpetual DWC with 5 gal buckets two tents 8 bulb t5 veg. 2 600 hps in flower I start clones and seeds in promix then right in net pot I reuse everything I use skunklabs products real easy to use nutrients I hardly do res changes if I change res I use the bucket head vacuum from home depot works good. Mix nuts in a separate bucket then pour in cant get any easierIMG_20180109_113517189.jpg IMG_20180109_113539173.jpg IMG_20180109_120106026.jpg rust on net pots my plants get top heavy put weights on them

^this is the best bang for the buck if you are new like me, I did 2 chili grows and half of my first grow following the standard recommendation. After i followed growweedeasy chart, i stop having to re balance my PH every day. I stop seeing nutrition issue on my fan leaves. And my plant overall had a more healthy appeal.

A few things i need to add, i fucked myself so many times during my first grow with my environment issue. IF your not buying a water chiller like i have now. And your water temps are above 73 F/23c run SM-90 in your water. My roots lucked like shit on my first plant, but on my last one they had a cream/ pearl white color. beautiful! <3 it is not a solution is more like a bandage, also get a humidifier. :)

I suggest using orange 5 gallon igloo water dispenser coolers for your bucket. Keep solution from getting to hot. 5 gallon buckets get to hot without water chiller. And use 6" net pot lids with silver aluminium tape on top. For some reason the lids are black and soak up the heat. When temp gets up around 70 i throw a few scoops of ice in there and it's good for a few days. Ice won't hurt roots like someone is sure to say, I've been doing it this way for years. Ice melts in no time and rez temp is cool again. Rez temp is key to success of you ask me.

I finally have all my net pots, meters, clay pebbbles, 18 gallon totes, air stones, and so on. I have two c99xblueberry clones that are a couple days away from being placed in net pots.. I decided to go with the fox farm hydro trio because I already had it handy.. my question is...

The first week clones are in net pots and getting established. Should I follow the bottle instructions or start at 1/4 strength? Or 1/2 strength?

Lol, I turned a waterfarm individual bucket system into a DWC with an extra reservoir...

That's an old system but I like to grow individual plants instead of multiples. My newer system has a lotta "bells and whistles" on it compared to this one
ive been thinking about doing this to keep res temps down, how did you connect the buckets?
