DWC, 32 gal. bubbleponics

So im doing my 1st dwc bubbleponics grow.
IM using 3 air pumps and probably going to get another to add more bubbles.
For the nutrients in using the fox farm line with Grow by AN and Bud Candy.
Its on its first week of nutrients and the Russian Purp is loving it.
The others were just started.

That's a big res, how many plants?

5 plants
2 pineapple express
2 northern lights
1 purple russian

More than 3 gal of water per plant is pretty much a waste. You could save a lot on nutes with a smaller res.

I have the same size res but i'ts a dwc where the nets hang down into the res six plants and it's fill half way wilth a top notch cheap fish pump made for a 60 gallon tank plenty of bubbles plus the plants are also top fed continues.

i have to agree 32 gallons for 5 plants is a waste you could use a smaller res and still get the same results.

You're all forgetting that the larger res you have, the more stable your solution is. The slower and less drastic any pH and ppm swings are going to be. Rock on buddy.

I'm doing 2 plants in a 30 gallon container, they achieve tree status in only a month and a half from clone.

32Gal is also a pain in the ass to change weekly or even bi weekly. A Gallon per plant is enough. I have done 5 plants in a 10 Gallon container using 7 Gallons of water no problem.

well the pineapple express just took off and is consuming verythinng in its path
the damn thing has tripled the size of the others.
just amazing how productive hydroponics really is

I dunno guys,

I have 5 gallon buckets, and I seriously wish I had
more room for root growth.

I am going to have to agree 100% with the larger res's being better. less fluctuation with pH and PPMS. The extra nutes used is no biggie when your crop is healthy from stability... I use two 100 Gallon res's piggie backed onto each other with two 1" thru hulls for 25 buckets in total. Two different rooms flowering at the same time.
