You can tie it down, which might be better than cutting it. Not sure, since I've yet to see a good comparison of the same strain in the same conditions, with one being topped and the other left alone.

You don't have to tho. Think Different has a great natural shape to it, and if you tuck some of the bigger fan leaves under the lower branches, to allow more light to reach them, they will grow taller and fill in nicely. Once TD gets going, it explodes with growth. In 20 gallons, it should do amazingly.

What does your smell like?

Thats what im hoping for! I have a pretty great spot where I'm about to tuck them and let them finish. I have a strawberry caugh and a double glock that were started 5/5 that are in 2x3 holes with roots organic/fox farm mix I will be running as well. I just have these two here because I wanted them to get atleast 18/6 light for the first 3 or so weeks. Help them out since they will be going down to 13hrs with maybe 8-9 of that being direct. So hopefully they farewell finishing outdoors!

You are growing 2 of them? If so, you might want to try topping one and leaving the other to grow naturally, and comparing the yield. That way you can know for the future which works better.

As much as I'd love to be topping them already, i just cant bring myself to clipping an auto going outdoors where its already lacking 9hrs of indoor light. If I was indoors and could run 20/4. Ya i might take ya up on the compare/contrast but not for these outdoor gals.. lol

Day 23.. They've been growing pretty fast. Feel like I'm getting a half inch or more in height every night. There's been lots of long and fat white hairs showing up. I think the plants look a little banged up. Couple days ago I turned the light on and neglected to notice they grew quit a bit and when I went to move them outside for the 7-8hrs of sun, one had been reaching up and touching the light. Fried a leaf real good. And my cat of 12yrs has never picked at my plants but loves sleeping under the lights. Found a couple leaves chewed up.. wtf? Anyhow. I've been meaning to move these to their final spot outside but I've been waiting on this double glock seedling to get stronger before I move it too. So maybe 8-9 days. For these two though I'm overall impressed with their size. I would like to think under better conditions (actual grow room and nice light or greenhouse) these would probably be even bigger..

Hey y'all,

I'm just wondering how much the TD stretches during flower?

I've got a MONSTER on my hands, and I'm getting worried lol.

I cracked a TD auto and a WW auto on Feb 1st. I thought I would grow them out in my veg space for some extra smoke while I waited on my photoperiod strains. The WW went into flower automatically, as an auto flower should. The WW has already finished flowering, been harvested and smoked. She was delicious, tasted of citrus and black pepper, with that slight ruderalis taste that I find in all autos.

The TD on the other hand, has continued to veg, and veg, and veg. My Think Different is currently about 5ft tall, and still vegging. I've transplanted it hoping to shock it into flower. That didn't work. I topped the shit out of it, hoping to shock it into flower, that didn't work...

I was unable to put it into flower because I had nowhere to do so. But now I do, and I'm wondering about stretch.

How much does she stretch?

Here's a pic

Bear in mind, I'm 6'2" and holding the camera at eye level here.

See how I've created a monster?

@Mhogs I just realized this was a thread jack. I'm sorry bro... I thanked all your posts on this thread and can move my post if you'd like. Don't wanna step on any toes...
