Quick question. I harvested and yesterday I weighed and it was close to a lb and not quite dry enough to bag. I checked tonight and it was dry enough to bag and came up close to 4 1/2 ozs short of what I weighed yesterday. Is that even possible ?????? Im letting air dry on drying net that is 3ft tall with 4 levels of netting. No fan or anything and its not inside the grow room. Ive never had this issue before. I can understand losing some, but 4 1/2 ozs in a day ????????

How long was it drying before the first weigh? And yes it is possible.

I've seen people who were novice growers, partnering with a friend.

One of the 2 didn't realize how much weight it actually loses during drying. They weighed it when the stems were still bendy. When they went back and weighed it again and it lost weight they accused their partner of theft. In all reality it had lost water weight. But they let it ruin a decades long friendship.

I have never liked grow partnerships, always seems to go wrong.

my trimmed wet buds are weighed for an estimate of what my dry yield will be. I know I'll lose about 75% of that wet water weight in about a week or so(controlled designated drying room)
when my drying room atmosphere wasnt controlled my results were all over the map too.

My drying rack hangs from a digi scale and this helps me stay crispy clean and legal all the time.
not arguing, just one reason one may weigh their wet harvest
