dry Ph down

Hi all,

Ok my liquid ph down (nitric acid) has run out, so has most of my funds and was looking at buying the dry ph down instead of the liquid again. I have no e experience with the powdered stuff.

Any advice why I should not use the dry?

There are no suitable strong acids in solid form.

Nitric acid imo is the best pH down. Good stuff!! It's better than phosphoric acid and sulfuric acid! If it's in solid form, it's probably a weak organic acid.

For a solid pH up, potassium hydroxide flakes is the best.
